I had to shower three times to get the stench off me after reading the report about Penn State.A shameless representation,and example of genuflecting at the feet of a football coach only because of his profile.Paterno turned out to be nothing but a spineless punk.

It's really depressing. I grew up as a Pitt fan because my father was from Pittsburgh and I always hated Penn State. But, about 15 yrs ago, I began to appreciate what Joe Pa had accomplished. And now, well ..... I don't even know what to say, because this is so low that I haven't fully grasped the entirety of the situation. I hope that this allows for a much deeper conversation as to the role of sports at the collegiate level. I mean, do Nick Saban and Les Miles really deserve 4 million dollars plus annually? That is only 1 of a thousand questions that need to be addressed.

I would change that title if I were you. And I'm with you, whatever goodwill I had for Paterno was completely shattered after reading that report.
