It seems that the 2nd rounders are worth next to nothing anymore, I think this is because everyone can see the rookies' ratings. no one with a good rating will get past the 1st round. so how about this?

The commissioner only gives us a list of rookie candidates, JUST THEIR NAMES, and their ratings will only be shown after the draft is finished. This way we will be forced to research about the rookies(Scouting) and our draft will depend on how we scout them. There will be reach and there will be steals. kinda like what the draft is supposed to be

Rookies' value and ratings are supposed to be unknown until they play in the NBA, but if you release their ratings beforehand then you remove the mystery of these rookies

just an idea to make those second rounders more meaningful

2nd rounders are worth nothing in the real NBA as well though. I do think you should have to spend a point or so to see 5 players ratings.

See I think 2nd rounders are worthless solely based on the fact that any 2nd rounder (or late pick) that went on to do anything in the NBA are not gonna be a secret to us

If anyone was involved in a trade, make sure to claim or delete your points.

Everyone in the league should be on the lookout for another GM not using his points properly (not subtracting after a trade, adding points that he doesn't earn, etc) and that GM will be penalized as I see fit.
