Those colors scream Voodoo IMO
My good sir, I thank you. I was struggling for color ideas for a Voodoo concept I've been thinking about, and you just might have helped me get on track. Nope. It's not even official that David Stern will let us.

Don't think it's an issue of "let." More like we have to go through the right channels. I mean this can't be something new to Stern. Benson had to have brought this up in the negotiations to buy the team.

Good idea btw about AJ. Shoot, I would take this almost directly as the logo:
Its seen as a civil war reference. And rebels(confederates) were seen as pro slavery which may create problems among African American fans. With the right logo/mascot it could work. Ole Miss is still the rebels but they recently had to change the masot.What's not PC about it?

I love the idea of using Jackson as within the logo/branding, but he wasn't a "Rebel."
Technically you are correct. However you could argue/shape that he was a rebel against Great Britain. It would help make the logo/mascot more PC and make sense in New Orleans.
The Outlaws? that's what I thought when I saw those logos...
