If Portland got CJ, I would be sick. You think GS's backcourt is good? Combined, I think Lillard and CJ would be just as good as shooters, better playmakers and defenders. Better rebounders.

If they could somehow add a center or if Meyers Leonard developed, watch out.

I wouldn't mind either guy to be honest. I think either can play alongside Rivers. I think it's a given Gordon is gone no matter what we do in draft.

Rivers, McLemore and AD25 is a solid core to build around. A 6-5 PG (w/ CHOS ability and good handle), a 6-4.75 SG (w/ elite athleticism and shooting ability) and a 6-11 PF (w/ a polished offensive game and elite shot blocking) makes for the start of a good basketball team. Add Ryno and his stretch-4 skills and we're looking good...

I know the rumor is that Cleveland's taking Len because they want to make the playoffs; but how does that help them make the playoffs? It seems as if they would go after a need to make the playoffs

I like CJ but I don't see him as a better shooter than neither Klay or Steph. His comparison to me is a more fluid Monta Ellis who would be a safe pick if we have plans of departing with Gordon. Ben doesn't have a chance of being there at 6 IMO. Phoenix would snag him in a heartbeat at five.

I think the rumor of them taking Len #1 is the Cavs blowing smoke, trying to get someone to bit and make a trade for there pick. They have been wanting to trade there pick but havent got any takers thats why you are hearing a different name every week.

They have a better chance at making the playoffs with Len than with Noel.

Len had surgery in mid May, with a 4-6 month recovery time. He might not take the court until November at which point he is already way behind everyone else and nowhere near basketball shape. He will certainly play next year, but he's not taking anyone to the playoffs would be my guess.

Cleveland has made it a point that they want to make the playoffs this year. I don't think Len or Noel will get them there, so I think they pass on both.
