    Terrel Harris
    Darius Miller
    Austin Rivers
    Lance Thomas

That's who I see playing. I could see Roberts too but I think he established himself this year enough not to play summer league. Boy how things change.

Will we see a return of Summer League Beast SUPER Bowles ?

Damn, i'm going to Vegas in late August too.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Usually SL is for rookies, 2nd year guys, or guys who haven't been drafted. Because of his struggles last year I can def. see Rivers there. But AFA will be entering his 4th year, so I doubt he gets sent.

So a month and two days after the Finals until basketball I care about starts again.

Not sure how I feel about this playoff system idea. If it's not broke, why fix it?

I agree with this list except I'd add the #6 pick. I can't wait to see Rivers and whoever we pick, if they do compete that is.

I'd be absolutely shocked if Rivers does not play in the summer league this year, unless of course he's injured.

Anthony Davis, however, I would be surprised to see play.

I'll watch regardless because I'm interested in seeing Rivers' improvement, where he sucked it up in the Summer League last year. I'm also going to be interested in seeing whoever the #6 pick is. Plus, it's only what? 10 bucks?

At least basketball has a MUCh shorter turnaround before you can see competitive basketball than football thanks to the post season being so freaking long.

Williams confirmed two weeks ago that forward Anthony Davis has fully recovered from a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.Though Davis’ knee injury didn’t require surgery, it forced him to miss the final three games of the season. Davis, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, is expected to participate in the Team USA's mini camp scheduled for July 22-25 in Las Vegas with teammate Ryan Anderson. He will not participate on the Pelicans' summer league team, team officials confirmed. New Orleans Times-Picayune

This came out a couple of weeks ago. In case some were holding out hope Davis would play.

The change is to generate more fan interest, especially now that they offer pay streams of it. I personally like it. The only real downside is a worry that about the playtimes and goals given to various players I have interest in.

Eman: yeah, I'm actually excited for this to start and appreciate the short turnaround. It would suck if we were a contending team because our guys would get hardly any rest.

I don't know if this league helps their play or not. I just hope no one gets hurt.

This definitely rehashes some things from last offseason.

I thought the Pelicans came out and said that they wanted Rivers and Davis to work out together this offseason?

I guess maybe its only 10 days so Rivers might still and spend the rest of the time with Davis.

Yea I know it's prob not gonna happen. I was just saying that's who I'd like to attend and play. He needs all the extra work and playing time he can get. Plus I'd like to see how much he stands out playing with those guys.
