Anybody notice that Miami security was preparing for a crowd rush? I think Van Gundy even brought it up.

Weather they are from Miami or the Westbank I don't want to see these Heat fans in our arena next season. Same goes for the Laker fans.
Good luck with that. They outnumbered hornets fans this past season. Doubt changing the name to The Pelicans is gonna help that much.
Heat game was the ONLY game i left early because i was so disgusted. (not by the teams play, which was bad, but by the bandwagon that surrounded me)
The Heat bandwagon is so pitiful.
Call it like I see it.
If Heat fans are front runners worthy of mockery, what will that make Pelicans fans who suddenly fill up the arena when/if we start being a playoff team. Like I said, I can't GIVE tickets away some games and these are good seats. I've seen Hornets fans arrive late and leave early. I guess somebody in Sacramento will be calling us bandwagoners and front runners as well.
I'm not going to criticize a fanbase because 5% of the arena wanted to beat traffic or didnt want to witness the Spurs celebrate on Miami's home court. I know people that were calling in bets they thought they won with 30 seconds left in that game. Twitter is full of people from all over the world who were trashing and clowning the Heat and Lebron with seconds left. NBA officials were setting up for the trophy presentation.
95% of American Airlines Arena saw Ray Allen hit that 3 and send it into overtime. Probably 95% of Heat fans were still watching at home.
Yet, as fans of the team with probably the lowest attendance in the league, we have the nerve to act like we're better than Miami fans??
Yep I'm loopy. I'll go back to other threads where I call Eric Gordon "a broad" and it doesn't come off as so "off the wall"!
Every good team has a bandwagon.
Dan Le Bataterd even ripping the Miami fans on twitter.

The scene was described to me by one arena worker as "crazy." Hundreds of fans were pounding on the glass doors begging to be let back in. Police actually came over to stablize the situation as some were getting quite upset, apparently.
One worker expressed actual worry and there was a bit of fear because of the aggressiveness some were showing
"They were saying, 'I just left! I just left! Please!'" an arena worker said. "They'd run up there, then they'd run back here trying different doors to see if they could get in."
Asked if there was any consideration to open the door, an arena official said that was firmly against policy -- the doors are marked in big red letters "NO RE-ENTRY ALLOWED" -- and said if the doors were opened, that would only make things worse.
In the end, the Heat survived 103-100 to force a Game 7.

Yes, we have the nerve. Because there guilty parties in all fanbases makes it less of a disgrace? Like hell. The fans in New Orleans that leave disgust me just as much as Miami ones. But in their case especially because they left the moment victory was in doubt.
I don't care what our attendance was what those "fans" did was a joke.
Better believe I'm a better fan than them.
Dan has every right to rip Miami fans. He loves Miami and is a Miami fan.
But when fans of one team rip fans of another team it just strikes me as dumb, often hypocritical, and kind of "broadish". Like when women sit around and rip other women. Usually a little jealousy involved. Definitely a few sips of Haterade being passed around.
I don't get the mindset of bandwagoners. How can you only care when your winning? How can you turn it off and on or switch sides so easily?
I completely agree. Those fans that leave early at the moment of doubt are stupid and awful fans. Those 5% of fans that did that. They look stupid running back and trying to get in the arena.
But where I disagree is when people make blanket statements and characterizations about "Miami fans" or fans of other teams.
A few Bears fans were complete chumps and disrespectful at the 2006 NFC championship game. That doesn't mean all Bears fans are jerks.
I have a pet peeve about generalizations and stereotypes!
Personally, I have a rule that I cannot leave a game early. If I bought a ticket I'm making the most out of it. The only time I left a game early is when I was 5 and left and LSU football game after the 3rd quarter against some terrible team. I think it's a great rule and shows you're a true fan.
As for the Heat "fans", I live in BR and I hate Heat "fans" because they say they've loved the Heat all there life and brag everywhere they go that "their" team won and how they've loved them all their life. It just pisses me off.
Welcome to be here
Hahaha you are so lying bro!! That dome was a rockin til the clock struck 000000. Saints fans did not FILE OUT of the dome. U must have saw a couple leave. Let me add that the dome was actually a rockin for quite come time after the game and tears were being she'd all over the p,ace with hugs and kisses and high fives for everyone. The most amazing experience in my lifetime as a lifelong saints fan. I must admit I cried tears of joy when that kick went thru the uprights. So many years of devastation and sorrow. Lifelong saints fans feel me. Not sure how u couldn't of cried if your a lifer.

This guy here is really taking to heart the ripping of the heat bandwagon fan base. Lololololol. U are an undercover lebron and heat lover just admit it. If you weren't u wouldn't continue to defend every comment someone keeps making on them on this thread. Especially after u clearly said in your 2nd post to each his own enjoy the thread. It'll be ok bro.
So the fans in Miami can call fellow fans bandwagon fans but we can't?
That's pretty jacked up when the Miami media is telling us what they are, yet we can't view them the same way. Can I call a victim if rape a "victim", or is it one of those " you would have to be there to get it" Type deals?
