"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin
I'm so dam glad the spurs answered that butt kicking in Miami with an even better butt kicking in s.a. Beautiful.
I don't know what you guys are talking about, everyone on ESPN told me the Heat were a team that couldn't be blown out.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
Lebron just kept putting his head down and crashed into everyone on his way to the basket. The difference was the refs rarely called those which they did right. Hate how lebron keeps getting rewarded for his out of control play and phantom foul calls.
The thing that I noticed about Lebron recently is that he has a "stand-still" jumper but his off the dribble jumper is not all that accurate. And that is exactly what SA is making him do, they are going under his screens and forcing him to hit that jumper in stride. The thing is, SA is playing very good 3PT Defense and staying home, so when he comes off that screen and can't kick it to his shooters, he has no choice but to pull up because the paint is not necessarily packed but well-defended.
Pop is a genius.
What an exhibition from the Spurs. I'm happy for them. Green and Neal looked like superstars, they had the game of their lifes.
I hope Parker is OK and can play the next game without any trouble.
Watching them is a thing of beauty, true & pure basketball. Team work and great effort, any player looks like a great one under Popovich's direction and system of play.
If SAS win 1 of the 2 home games left, they will have it in their hands.
If the the spurs take all their home games, I'd be willing to be the format changes next year after the prized heat lose that way. Just saying.
UPDATE: @spurs announce @tonyparker will play tonight in Game 4.

I'd be really happy if the Spurs win this one. Come on, Lebron! I'm counting on you!
Some defending champ. Resorting to lineup shifts to gain an edge.
Tony Parker's looking good out there
Refs treating Splitter like a scrub. He's getting mugged out there. This is one of the things I really hate about the NBA, if you're not a big name, the refs will turn the blind eye.
Chris Bosh is terrible. I mean just terrible. He takes so many jump shots, and all bricks.
