From recent tweets he's now on the CJ bandwagon.

One aspect of Vasquez at the 3 that intrigues me is it would allow us to get an extra ballhandler/passer on the floor. New York found a lot of late season success through a Pablo Prigs/Raymond Felton/Iman Shumpert lineup that helped them reduce turnovers, space the floor and push the ball when the opportunity arose.

Having said that, Shumpert's a really strong defender and that really keyed the ability to do that. Unless Vasquez is a significantly better defender against wings than he is at the point he's gonna have trouble transitioning there.

Im fine with the three guard sets; i think i would go ballistic if Vazquez was our starting 2.

Yeah I remember not to long ago Victor was supposed to be Dell's biggest man crush. Not to take a shot at MM he does his due diligence. Just goes to show how fluid things are.

He is a good journalist when he is objective. The problem is he lets opinions or emotion affect his judgement sometimes.

I thought we were discussing Shabazz.

If we draft Burke we would be very deep at the 1 and 2 (assuming Burke pans out of course). Burke/Vazquez/Roberts Gordon/Rivers is an intriguing combo...

Or, more likely, that the Supervillain is lying his butt off.

Man O man can you imagine this board if we get Dipo? 10 threads in the first hour about Gordon trade scenarios, no less than 100 HornetGuru hypothetical lineups

Oh please Lord, throw me a bone.

I'd rather draft CJ and keep Gordon and Rivers for now. We still need a center, but I don't like Len that much.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

I'd rather take CJ over Burke and Oladipo.

I've said from day one that Oladipo's offense worries me. I know he was really efficient, but he really didn't take very many shots.

Burke, don't get me wrong I wouldn't be upset if we drafted him, I think he'll be a good player, but he isn't what this team needs.

Then you have McCollum, who brings elite offense. His off the dribble game is unreal, and it's probably the hardest thing to master in the game.

I'd take who MM says dell likes w a grain of salt.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I totally agree. His ability to create off the dribble is can't be learned at an older age. I like a CJ/Gordon backcourt with Rivers as the 6th man.

Smoke screen.... I hope he leaves a bunch of smoke screens so nobody knows who we're drafting. It makes a team have to move in front of us to grab the player we said we wanted. 3 weeks till the draft, come on.

Or I wouldn't mind a Rivers/Gordon backcourt with McCollum off the bench. That's the beauty of it.

#4 is Dipo obviously. So Burke is #8 on MM's big board. Wow.

You could go either way but I think CJ would start over Rivers right now and be a better fit next to Gordon due to his shooting. But you could go either way.

McCollum is the safest pick and hell fit the best with our team at this point. If Austin can't be the pg we need he can probably play it also similarly. We at least get a good back SG, 6th man or even Gordon's replacement.

    GV/Rivers/CJM/Gordon
    Gordon/CJM/Rivers/GV

That's a whole lot of backcourt combinations lol it seems that team is going for a versatile team with players that are versatile and can play multiple positions. That's why Saric would have been great on this team. Good thing hell be in next years draft, if we get next plus CJM this year...Man oh man talk about offensive options and versatility. Saric can play probably 4 positions and against smaller teams, all 5.

I'd guess Len is the pick as of right now if the Dario news is in fact true. Just more need/playing time available for him than a C and the SF crop really falls off after Porter
