    Love it ! Thanks man!

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I don't see Houston trading Asik and parsons for anderson and miller. They are picking up more salary with RA and both players play a similar role. They need to move Asik, but he may be worth a pick, maybe future 1 in that package. I would take Asik, but we may be in play for Hortford b/c Atlanta is going to try and do that same restructure for DW.

I like Asik, but we need a center that can pick and roll or hit a jumper. If zeller was a full inch taller, he would be ideal b/c of his agility and shooting. But I have seen him go up against bigger centers and struggle.

Hoping CP comes back is about a 10% chance in my eyes. THink we have a chance if we put pieces around him, but I think we need to go in a different direction.

After watching GS in the playoffs, no way We get Klay for Gordon.

Not sure I would put RA in a trade b/c our bench would suffer hard.

I'd do it. You get two good starters for one. Ryan Anderson is a very good 3 point shooter and FT% along with being a decent rebounder, but he's not an elite player. Parsons & Asik are both better defenders than Ryan as well.

With that said, I don't see Houston doing this deal.

As Monty stated last year, "we need shooters" We need to continue drafting wisely and signing guys that have the potential of creating their own shot. Why would we trade D. Miller who is an up and coming player that has the potential to grow as an effective, offensive threat from deep who is still on his rookie contract? Why would we trade Ryno who is one of the best stretch 4's in the NBA who is on a very reasonable contract that doesn't destroy our salary cap? Now, I do like Chandler Parsons, but to include Asik's poison pill contract (PPP) in the deal would be insane on our part. I rather us continue to follow the model of drafting productive players and signing guys to reasonable contracts. I guarantee you even if Houston does get Dwight Howard their not going to win a championship next year. Book It! Lets not rush the process.

If Porter, McLemore, or Oladipo do not fall to us and Burke is still on the board. I would love if we could trade down with Utah(who really needs a point guard) for the 14th and 21st picks. Draft Shabazz if he is still there at 14 and if not take Dario Saric or KCP. Shabazz is growing on me more and more. I just like his drive to do whatever to become a better ball player. He doesn't disappear or take plays off. I think he will be like fellow #2 overall player coming our of high school the year before in Andre Drummond having a better pro year than college rookie year. Then at 21 take the BPA at hopefully the center or point guard position. Shane Larkin or Rudy Gobert would fit in that range. If we could trade down and get Shabazz and Gobert I'd be pumped. Let Gobert stay over seas for a year to get better, then come over down the road to be our starting center.
So in like 2015 this would be our championship winning team! lol

    C: Gobert
    PF: Davis / Ryno
    SF: Bazz
    SG: Gordon
    PG: Rivers / Vasquez

I'm not a fan of trading Anderson at all. He is an elite shooter on a great contract, and he is a perfect locker room guy. Hard worker, real lunch pale guy who grabs offensive boards and does a lot of dirty work.

Is it a great contract or is it fair? 8.5 million isnt too cheap.

Great. No question. One of the best in the league, and it's arguably the best non-rookie contract in the league.

  12. #62
I disagree personally but I think it's fair; not great.

    Hell yes.

Why do you think it's fair? Parsons is easily better than Anderson. And adding Asik to the equation makes the trade extremely lopsided. There's nothing even about that trade.

Y'all just assuming that Houston wants to dump Asik.

The same reason why you believe the trade is fair. It's subjective.

    Parsons is 24
    Ryno is 25

    Parsons contract: 800k
    Anderson's contract: 8.5million

    Per 36 stats:
    Parsons: 15.4 PPG - 5.3 RPG - 3.5 APG - 48.6 FG% - 38.5 FG3%
    Ryno: 18.8 PPG - 8 RPG - 1.4 APG - 42.3 FG% - 38.9 FG3%

From a value standpoint parsons is better and its not even close, from an overall standpoint ryno is better overall.

But I would take on a bad contract so we could get Parsons for the next 3 years at 800k a year lol.
