Duncan needs to dominate because Parker won't face a stiffer test on the perimeter than against the Heat. The Spurs have a big edge on the frontcourt. Also, Leonard will have to be on his game as well against Lebron.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

That lame duck 3rd quarter cost them this game. Only 11 points. Sheesh.

It's like we went out and played for that one quarter.

A pity, George played a great game.

It wasn't just a bad series. He didn't have enough game in the post to score against a smaller but quicker K-Mart. West tried to settle for jumpers and take him off the dribble and he never had a chance. Now DWest could post him up alot more and have more success since his post game is better than it was back then.

Hill and Stephenson disappearing act cost them.

Ill give u his post game may be a little better. Which I'd bet he has put all his effort into it cause he is not as athletic and agile as he used to be. He's much slower now. He has to rely on his post game now a days. So yes it would be better. You said he was an all around better player. I respectfully disagree.

Stephenson is basically Xavier Henry but right handed and from New York and only SLIGHTLY more coordinated.

And Hill is a younger, Roger Mason but in better shape.

Anything good from them is gravy. The Pacers have to win by grinding the Heat with their bigs, otherwise they will get run out the gym.

His defense is much better now as well. His improvement defensively started in his last season here and its been strong since. He has more help as well defensively, but individually he's improved as a defender. Honestly, Pacers don't have anyone who can create which hurts his offense.

Hibbert had 22 pts but only 6 boards. Hill and Stephenson combined for 5 points and 6 tos. I have to say them 2 guys cost them the game. I agree tho. They HAVE to pound the ball down low. Hibbert should get a touch every time. Down the floor on the block. No reason he shouldn't.

Come on x isn't close to Stephenson. His def is pretty dang good ESP on top tier guys. X can't get out of his own way.

Hoping the Heat can put them away next game. A Spurs/Heat Finals will be entertaining.

Pacers are just too similar to the Grizzlies.

Suffice to say I don't trust ANY of what good comes out of Stephenson. His shot makes me cringe. His transitional recklessness makes me laugh. But I do love his fearlessness and he's very entertaining. I mean he waved a screen off while being guarded by LeBron like "Nah, son, I got this."

I hear ya man but all of his career highs in all categories have come in his younger days. I was born in Indy n all my fam is there so I root for the pacers as long as they ain't playing us. Lol. So I watch about 70-80% of all pacers games. These last 2 years of west are considerably less of what I saw from him in his years in no.

Agreed and I feel like a lot of fans would like us to go down a similar path.

Here is a scary thought, West is a FA this offseason, so is CP3. If Indy could do a sign based around Granger for CP3, and DX would resign on a slightly smaller deal than what he has now, the Pacers would have their pg, sf, PF, and center spot locked up so tight it would be suffocating.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

  22. #1297
Or West could just go to the Clips and be with CP3 and cough Byron.

Both teams could use an Eric Gordon, assuming he's healthy.

He would be stupid to stay in LA. Indy has a title team, LA has a sideshow team.

Maybe that is the plan now. DX tanking.
