I know I personally laughed bc Gordon wasn't as valuable and was more injury prone.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Yeah I recall most people saying there's no way Indiana does that deal.

Wish I could find the thread because I don't remember anyone claiming I was asking for to much. I remember having to defend my claim Geirge was a future superstar

If we are going by who is ideal, with realistic possibilities and money put aside, you would be hard pressed to find one person that wouldn't say they want a CP3 - New Orleans reunion.

Realistically? I'd say Bledsoe, Burke, GV, McCollum, and Teague.

I think cap space wise it could be a problem. This team isn't ready to compete for titles and I don't think Chris Paul on a max contract will put us over the top and we won't have the cap space to get the other players even if they wanted to come play here.

The more I look at MCW the more I love his NBA potential. He's on my radar.

I really want Schroeder. He's an American-style athlete with European skills.

Burke will be long gone by the time we draft...Rivers is our future PG and Vasquez will be traded.

    Cavs-noel
    Orl-Burke
    Was-Porter

More rumors of the Cavs either taking Porter 1st or trading down than taking Noel.

Wrong, everyone said we weren't getting enough for Gordon because he was a future superstar. Wish I could find the thread, but I can't.
I don't know if the following are the threads, but I got a good laugh reading through them seeing how things played out.

People are way too focused on the PG position. We don't have to upgrade the position this season. We have serviceable guards in Rivers and Vasquez at the very least, for this upcoming season. I still think the PG position should be the final piece and they can be had outside of the lottery.

This. We need to keep our picks, and keep adding young talent to the roster. We are not at the point where we should add more big contracts just to add them. Rondo would be a bad move unless we are competing now; we are not.

Why wait when one is staring you in the face right now? You take your opportunities as they come. What you said is true for just about any position outside of a big with post moves.

Flynn was a much worse 3-point shooter and also turned it over more. The only real similarity is they're both small.

I actually hoping a big from this draft could be that guy.

I hope Dell is willing to take on Marion's expiring for that pick. Would be nice to land another 1st while acquiring another asset (Marion's expiring could help someone get out of luxury tax land come deadline time).

Any disadvantage you have is magnified when you are small and the average player in your sport is 6'7.

The Mavs have an ETO on Marion. I think they'll use that to rid themselves of his contract. The Mavs need cheap players they only have 7 (not counting Marion)guys under contract next season. They'll make their swing at Howard and/or Paul, but they still need bodies that doesn't tie up they're cap space.

Of course it depends on what we have to give up but I would be excited to see the following:
    1. Bledsoe
    2. Carter-Williams
    3. Bradley
    4. Lowry
    5. Burke

    1. Bledsoe
    2. Jennings
    3. Evans
    4. Prigioni
    5. Nate

Don't really want to use our pick on a point guard. I just feel like we spent a top ten pick on a point guard last year and I believe Austin Rivers will eventually be our starter. The more I think about it, I really want to keep Vasquez on this team long term as a poor man's Manu coming off the bench. The guy has some talent as a decent scoring point guard that can operate an offense. So if we are to add a point guard, I would rather a vet. Then we could have Vasquez & Rivers as our two back up guards being able to play either position. So if we do add a point guard, he needs to be a lock down defender(Bledsoe!!!) We need to trade Lopez and maybe our pick or future pick to somehow get Bledsoe! If not Jennings or Evans would be a good back up plan. I really like Evans since he can play multiple positions and adds athleticism with versatility. If we do keep the pick, I pray Otto Porter or Victor Oladipo drops but if not I think we have to trade back. If that doesn't happen we have to go BPA out of Bennett, Len, Shabazz, or Zeller. I know everyone says we are stacked at power forward, but only one of them is really athletic. I wouldn't mind adding an athlete like Bennett and play him or Ryno at the 3 in some situations to get them their minutes. Zeller might be the safest way to go and I think he will be a Tom Chambers type of athletic freak of a white boy big man, lol!
