Looking at pictures of AD next to Drummond, I think he may be a legitimate 7'0 foot now. And if not he's very close.

That sucks! It sounds like they are going to go with a rotational guy like Bennett maybe? I still would rather C.J., but it would be nice if Burke could fall.

Faster than Oladipo at the combine, the highest vert of any bigman in recent memory, best agility time, and he's a terrific offensive player.

6'11" wingspan is a bit low but it's not bad or anything, and we have our rim-protector in Anthony Davis. A super athletic, offensively minded 7 foot center next to him sounds great to me.
Zeller more PF than center but I wouldn't hate it. Rather Len

You know Drummond 6'10 right. Or was anyway.

Of course truth is you may end up being ecstatic you didn't get the guy you wanted at 3. Kings were happy they got Thomas Robinson last year over Damion Lillard...

I'm sure it's nice and roomy on that train.

I can't wait to see what this number 6 pick will get us.

Actually he measured 6'11.75 with shoes.

Really? Either Davis is rockin' platform shoes or he's grown another quarter of an inch or more on top of the half inch he's grown since we drafted him.

Or the pic I'm looking at has weird perspective and Drummond's head not being straight up will make up more height than I'm assuming it would.

I think C.J. McCollum is going to kill it in the workouts, raise his stock, and become our lottery pick at #6. Dude can shoot the hell out of the rock, can create his own shot off the dribble, and plays defense. That's just too much potential to pass up IMO.

I would be cool with McCollum at 6. He can flat out play. Zeller would be fine too. He's an offensive dynamo in this draft.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Still some first class seats left.

Get on now and you get complimentary nuts.

I'd take Zeller over Noel after that 206 weigh in for Noel. I still think Zeller has a good career ahead of him.

    Zeller is being undersold.

Do you think his game compliments or can compliment ADs effectively?

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

Definitely. If the top 5 picks are Noel, Burke, McLemore, Oladipo and Porter, I'd have a hard time choosing between Bazz and Zeller.

They would certainly be my top two preferences at that point.

Man their profiles looks mighty similar even though Stephen overall was a better scorer, 3 point and free throw shooter in college. But the strengths and weakness are exactly the same.

That wasn't a reach. Waiters was a fast riser before the draft. He looks like a great pick given how he played late in the season.

You can't really judge height based off of photo's.

Don't forget you have the benefit of retrospect here. At the time, a lot of reaction was that Cleveland took him too high, or reached.

Just because the pick is working out doesn't change the perception at the time.
