    Dennis Schroder

ok guys, I dont remember if anyone else brought this guy up, but what do you think of Dennis Schroder? I am hearing really good things about him as a PG. I watch highlights of him and he reminds me of a blend between Tony Parker and a better shooting Rajon Rondo. I can see us trading back to get him. As I do see us grabbing an international player instead of a college kid.

Brian Roberts who also played in Germany could be a nice mentor for him. Kinda like how they drafted Darius Miller to ease AD's transition to the league. Although drafting Schroeder could mean one of our current PG's could be traded.

He's been mntiined on this board some were. Maybe the lottery thread? A guy from Germany who watches alot of his games said that Roberts was considerably better two years ago than Schroder was this last year. Take that for what it's worth, but that's his opinion.

That is expected from a 25-26 year old developed player vs a 18-19 year old.

schroder is gonna be a beast, 2nd best PG from this draft. He can score and is a great defender.

So would you take him? You said he is the second best. I love Burke but I am hearing he isnt a good defender. I mean the block that was called foul in the NCAA Tourney was a good sign of his defensive potential. So I dont know if thats true. But apparently this kid is already a good defender. To me Burke may be a better PG now but Dennis could be a better PG when its all said and done. To me he looks more physically gifted. I can only imagine when he gets that NBA body. He could physically be imposing.

would i take him? sure, at 5? No. He reminds me of rajon rondo but with a jumper, he could be something very special!

A lot of people thought OKC was crazy to take Westbrook at 4. I'm not saying we should take him but if he is the guy we want than forget what the pick number is and ignore what everyone else thinks. I don't love or hate anyone in this draft so i will support whoever we select. But unlike others I would rather a SF or center other than PG.
We want more! We want more!
