When has a lil' thing like common sense, logic, or truth ever got in the way of the allure of conspiracy?

  2. #102
man I just have this feeling we land a top 3 pick, most likely the 2nd or 3rd pick, wouldnt that be awesome.

Tried this for the 1st time, results:

    1. Pelicans - McLemore
    2. Wizards - Noel
    3. Cavs - Porter
    4. Magic - Burke
    5. Bobcats - Bennett
    6. Suns - Oladipo

    Where can i sign?

  5. #105
I ran it 10 times, and here are the results.
    Position Player
    1 McLemore
    1 McLemore
    1 McLemore
    2 McLemore
    5 Bennett
    6 Bennett
    6 Bennett
    6 Burke
    6 Burke
    6 McCollum

It's important, I think, to note that each time McCollum and Bennett were both available, we picked Bennett.
I've heard good things about McCollum, but not much about Bennett.

    What do you guys think?

I've been playing with it a bit myself. I don't get the Bennett pick at all. Furthermore, really don't want. Not so sure about the McCollum pick either, but really don't want Bennett.

Jackson back with Tellem. Copeland wants big payday. Blazers consider moving up, eye Oladipo. Drew to meet with Bucks es.pn/X7jm0R
Is that a smoke screen or are they really eyeing Oladipo? We heard lots of talk pre-draft last year on how they liked Lillard and actually did go for Lillard.

We seem the most likely to trade out if we dont land our targets. Maybe they would send us some 2nd rounders, or if they are feeling frisky they send us a lotto protected first. Hmm... 2nd rounders are much more likely.

This is when HornetGuru comes up with a trade scenario where we trade our pick and Greivis for Lillard.

I'd ask for Matthews. And of course their first.

They don't really have much to give up if they're really looking to move. Maybe they offer their 2013 and 2014 pick?

I don't love Oladipo, so I'd probably do that to drop back 5 spots. Or I'd take pick #10 and Wesley Matthews.

    No he's not.

    Complement, maybe.

Makes sense to me that the Blazers would want Oladipo. They don't need a PG, SF, or PF as they have Lillard, Batum, and Aldridge. They also spent the 11th pick in last year's draft on Meyers Leonard. And because of who they have, their biggest need is probably a defensive stopper next to Batum.

  17. #117
My top 5 for who I'd like us to draft is as follows
    1. Ben mclemore
    2.trey Burke
    3. Otto porter
    4.alex Len
    5a. Victor oladipo
    5b.michael carter Williams

  18. #118
If we don't land top 3 and mclemore, Burke, and porter are gone which I'm sure they will cause the best we can do is 5th at that point. I'd really like to see us figure out a way to move back and get McW and an over seas prospect. There are 4 teams who have multiple 1st rd picks. Interesting to see how it all unfolds.

  19. #119
I would be happy if we are top 5.

  20. #120
I am hoping we could land the number one pick and trade out to get more picks

Number 1 with Cleveland at 3 really wanting Noel would be awesome. We could get their 3 and later pick in the first too.

Anybody know who(Pelicans) the person or player that will be attending in NY Tues? Flygirl got the info? Thanks!

Pretty sure it'll be Monty just like last year. Maybe hoping for some repeat mojo?

Well, it sure didn't work for Cleveland sending the owner's sickly son two years running.

Design a lotto machine that creats the perfect environment for a set combination to appear? Yea right.

Aliens?? NOW we might be talking.
i agree with your dad, and ill take it a step further. the league is rigged. the refs dictate way to much. heard of tim donaghy?

So you agree with the conspiracy theory but didn't address any of Smow's points? It's way too difficult to rig and there are too many team reps in the room.
    Wherehappens.
