I like Burke but I don't think we'll take him even if he's available when we're on the clock. Yeah I know we talked to him... its called "due-diligence".
Monty has also been talking about how badly he wants speed at the point. He has mentioned it in several of his "recent" interviews. We know Rivers adds that dimension. If we are able to flip Vasquez for a legit asset, then I wouldn't say Monty's investment in Vasquez's development was for not. Look at what the Saints just did with Chris Ivory - picked him up as an UDFA, developed him, and flipped him 3 years later for a 4th round pick.

What i've gathered from Monty, Dell, Benson and the gang is: 1. They are not looking to prolong this rebuild any further. I dont see us making any pro rebuild trades (cough gordon cough) or making package deals for next years lottery unless we get a deal we cant pass up. 2. They are looking primarily for need positions; dont be surprised if a Shroedder or Saric sneaks into our pick if Burke and Porter are gone. 3. They want VETERANS!!!! No more trade scenarios involving us taking a million draft picks or rookies please!!! We should be looking to compete for a playoff spot next year; we shouldnt blow up our freaking roster. Whether you agree or not, this is what i see happening.

Trading Gordon/Lopez for Bledsoe/Jordan/Green isn't inconsistent with anything you said you believe above.

If Monty is ready to challenge for a playoff spot next year, it could be that they've come to the conclusion that his coaches and teammates can't depend on Gordon to consistently contribute to that playoff push. Swapping out 2 young vets for 2 other young vets and a veteran Monty loves (Willie) doesn't mean we're rebuilding, especially if the players we acquire are plugged into starting lineup.

Just the opposite in fact, going into this season depending on Mr. Glass would mean we're still rebuilding and willing to be patient and still wait and see what happens with Gordon.

He isn't as good with the ball in his hands. McLemore is very excellent with off-ball movement and everything that comes with it.

I said Burke was faster than Paul but slightly less quick and/or explosive and that's actually what the numbers says.

Iggy is a career 32% 3 pt shooter. So, no that isn't an above avg 3 pt shooter. That 48% is only on 29 attempts. His reg season numbers are his true % numbers. The bigger sample size is what is judged. Bledsoe doesn't have a big enough sample size to grade that 40% which was only this year in which he only attempted 78 3s. The year he attempted 116 3s. He only shot 27%. He is a 30% career 3pt shooter. So no he is def not an above avg 3 pt shooter. As far as Otto porter. Him and mclemore both were at 42% not 44%.and in comparison mclemore shot 173 3s. Porter only attempted 102. I'd like to see him shoot more before labeling him above avg. reason being is he shot 22% the year before. Big time improvement tho. Just not a big enough sample size to really judge him yet. Btw I love porter and hope we draft him. To me an above avg 3 pt shooter are the better ones of the league. These guys def fall into the avg category. IMO. Not saying Bledsoe or porter can't get better and become that but at this time. I think it's Pre mature. Going off the numbers we currently have on these 2. Iggy is def not and will not ever be an above avg 3 pt shooter. The numbers are there for him to judge. 32% is actually border line avg/below avg.

Couple things stand out. Look how much narrower Noel's shoulders are compared to Davis. Hell. Look how broad Davis's shoulders are compared to Cauley-Stein.

And also, when they did Noel's measurements, did they count the hair too?

I see why Anthony Davis only weighs 220 lbs....

    He has a tiny head.

Dipo seems like a really smart kid. He's probably who I want the most out of this draft. Burke and Porter had good interviews as well. McLemore didn't seem like the brightest guy.

I'm really not a fan of BM I get his attributes but his bad qualities just make me very nervous as a starting 2.

Wow Stein has got to be 7'1. Also, Noel does look a little taller than AD, but AD looks to have more of an NBA body than Noel. He's built like a 3.

That's part of what I don't like about him, that softspokeness is evident in his game. I just don't know if he has a "killer" mentality and that's what I want in a 2.

that is my dream scenario...maybe al jefferson instead of iggy, but either way

Demps did say AD's grown half an inch since we drafted him, actually.

Look at Davis arms. He's clearly longer than Noel.
