Bazz worked out with small forwards, I have no doubt that's what he'll play at the next level.

    I would take a 6'3 CJ Mc over a 6'6 Shabazz.
dont forget bill freaking russel, a 6"9 center, or dennis roman, paul millsap or kenneth varied, jason terry.

First of all i don't see any SF second of all you saying all these names back in the day there weren't that many tall people back then and third as many NBA players they have you found a small group...yes the we good even great but thats still a risk especially for someone who hasn't proven themselves

no players in the draft have proven themselves. Look at thabeet, ya he was tall, and he sucks. Also i dont want bazz at SF, id rather him at SG but with his weight and 7 ft wing span i think he would be fine at SF also, but id rather him at SG to bully most SG's.

I think it's more of let's look at the game in conjunction w measurements. Not just measurements and pull him off the board.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

OK but shabazz a person known as a 1 trick pony supposedly a liability on defense at the SF position

Again, Iggy does quite well playing defense against 3s. 6' 6.75" in shoes with 6'11" reach.

e: Not saying that Shabazz won't be awful at defense, just that his size will not be the reason for it.

since he can score from any wich way on the court i wouldnt say thats a 1 trick pony, he can score from absolutely anywhere, perimeter, post, driving, and he is the best offensive rebounding guard in college basketball, which speaks to his hustle.

the fact that someone who can dunk, shoot, and pass this well...happens to be the best perimeter defender in college. its not a question who the steal in this draft is

    Official Cobine Measurements

    http://nbadraft.net/forum/2013-nba-combine-measurements

Gobert sets 2 records, no one has ever matched his wing span or standing reach, ever! That is insane...

  12. #137
Trey Burke with shoes: 6"1.5 - his draft stock just went up, if the magic pick before us we have no chance, better hope we jump them! I could even see the magic taking him #1

    He's a game changer

We already have lopez who is bad on the defensive board, gordon who as a rebounder is worse than useless and now put in shabazz who on the D-board is a non-presence? You like 2nd point chance to be scored on you

    This. He truly is phenomenal.

I'm really liking McLemore's game. He oozes a ton of potential as an athletic, slashing 2 guard. He will be great depth behind Gordon.

NOLA interviewed McLemore and Burke at the NBA Combine which leads me to strongly believe that one of our guards won't return next season. Who will it be???

So now Burke is actually pretty close to 6'2"? That is huge for him. Maybe too huge...

I have no idea why you're convinced the magic take Burke.

For comparison's sake, his measurables are quite similar to Tony Allen's.

Dipo's playing at the 2 anyway and is long, that won't affect him.

I'm sad that Burke measured so well Hopefully we can snag #3 so we have our choice of Porter and Burke. Pleeeeeeease?
    Wherehappens.
