It's just a lil' disappointing because you'd like a lil' more length for a 6'3" combo guard. It's what helps Gordon out immensely.
Agreed how is a +3" wing pan terrible?

Also, did I read right? Did Nerlens Noel weigh in at 206lbs? Jesus. As if I needed even more reason to not want him.

It's good on protypical height for the position. Most NBA players are +3 or +4. For a shorter guy like McCollum who has a typical wingspan for his height and is projected to be a SG, that's not good in my eyes. Especially one that is slated to go in the top 10.

He's listed as a PG from everything I've seen.

He's listed as a tweener. But if you watch him play a couple of times, you can tell he's more of a SG than a PG. I don't believe any team is going to draft him to be their PG.

Don't take this the wrong way. I think he's going to be a nice scorer in the league. I question his ability to be a full time starter. I think he's going to be a very valuable 6th man type.

Measurements aside, I feel like we already have Shabazz Muhammad on this team. Except he goes by the name Xavier Henry. Pass.

    2. Rudy Gobert - There's no doubt in my mind, he's going to be a top 10 pick. If he shows good fluidity and touch around the basket, Look out.
    3. Cody Zeller - Measured out better than I expected. Legit 7fter in shoes. Unfortunately, we have confirmation on his T-Rex arms.
    4. Steven Adams - Measured out very well. As expected. He's a much better prospect than his late first round grade people are giving him.
    5. Otto Porter is as advertised. Long! He's measured out almost as well as Aminu. That's great for him.
    6. Victor Oladipo - I was disappointed. I wish he was his listed height at 6-5. No more SF talk for him.
    7. Nerlens Noel - measured out very well. 206lbs is pathetic though. I could see teams shying away from him due to his weight.
    8. Ben McLemore - Measured out good. A heair under 6-5 in shoes. This basically puts him in Ray Allen territory in terms of height. I thought he was going to measure out shorter.
    9. Trey Burke - this guy keeps answering critics... time and time again.
    10. CJ McCollum - 6-3 in shoes? With a terrible wingspan at 6'6. Major disappointment.
Can we please stop with all this 6'6 good enough for sf... I mean damn aren't we already small with Ej... 6'6 is an ideal SG not SF and plus he would get destroyed by LBJ, Melo , Rudy , Durant , George, even barnes

My post had nothing to do with the Pelcans. Those are general thoughts. He's 225 with a 6'11 wingspan. That's similar to what Henry measured and Williams considered him a SF.

Iggy holds his own against those guys and he is a similar size to Shabazz, iirc.

You named one person... and even so why would you want to take that risk on height anyway

And yet, he still went top 5. There's a lot more to Barkley thank just his height. He was a freak of nature. Guys like Barkley doesn't grow on trees. He's a very rare breed. You'll probably won't see another Barkley in your lifetime.

I can name a hundred people who were undersized and were very good or still are good, ill do it later when I'm not on my phone, and the reason u take the risk is if u can play u can play

Exception not rule. Nate Robinson is serviceable but I'm sure he's not was gms are looking for in terms of measurable a because there's so little people with length "deficiencies" that break the rule. We bring up chuck Hayes as well but all he's been is a serviceable backup.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I bet you can't name 100s of people that were 2 standard deviations from mean height of position at current year. They'll be outliers; there always is. I also don't think Shabazz falls in the extremely undersized dept like chuck and chuck did either. So I don't think we're completely disagreeing.

And the fact that you all want to undersize on the position we need the most... To me I think i think the SF is strongest position in the game and under sizing isn't an option

never said i wanted an undersized guy, simply said they can be successful and dont look too much into size.

Earl Boykins, Nate Robinson, Ty Lawson, CP3,Monta Ellis, AI, Desmond Mason, Ariza, Dantly, Unseld, Chuck Hayes, Ben Wallace, Elgin Baylor, Muggsy, Larry Johnson, Truck Robinson, Stoudamire, Millsap, Dejuan Blair...what was that about size?

    I would take a 6'3 CJ Mc over a 6'6 Shabazz.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
