I hope ESPN does not turn this into a talk show.

More top prospects pulling out of drills portion of NBA draft combine: CJ McCollum, Cody Zeller, Michael Carter-Williams

No surprise, but Ben McLemore also pulling out of drills portion of NBA Draft Combine. Will participate in athletic testing.

McLemore has hired Rival Sports Group to manage him. Has been working out in LA with Pooh Richardson.

Credit Shabazz Muhammad for participating in all parts of the NBA Draft combine. He isn't shying away from the competition.

Something I really like about Bazz. He's got the knack of a competitor. If we slip to #6 like I think we will, I'm starting to lean very heavily towards grabbing him.

Conversely, if he has a great workout and shoots up the draft boards, he could push someone else like Burke or Porter down to us even if we do wind up #6.

I'm a little disappointed McCollum is sitting out the drills. I really wanted to see where he is in his rehab. He's supposedly 100% and it could have really help his stock.

I'm loving the fact that Muhammad is coming in with a chip on his shoulder. That's what I like to see from a prospect of his caliber.

Mcollum is my guy, he will be a top 6 pick. Last summer he was dominating every summer camp and right now he is the best player in this draft along with Burke ( he doesnt have the potential of mclemore or bennett but he is a better player right now). IMO Mcollum is a lock for ROY and he is a is a better version of Damian Lillard.

Man, I'm out in Yosemite national park and there's no tv so I'm gonna miss the combine, lottery and draft. Good thing I got yall to keep me posted. I love this time of year in the NBA.

cant wait to see burke, otto, and bazz participate in the athletic portion of the draft, plus props to bazz on being the insane competitor he is, i still see him, as a paul pierce and thinkhe will be a 20 point 5 rebound guy in the league

also nbadraft.net has cody zeller, shabazz, cj mcollum and anthony bennett rated above trey burke, blows my mind.

Agreed. His upside more than makes up for the off the court shenanigans we've been exposed to.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

If we can trade Gordon and come away with Muhammad and Burke I'll be thrilled. I think he can play the two where his length, size and strength will give him an advantage for day one. I think he has enough lateral quickness to guard the position. With a PG like Trey controlling the team it'll help Shabazz focus on what he loves to do score.

We can draft our SF of the future next year. I would even gamble on DeAndre Jordan. The Clips more than will look to move him for salary purposes. With Gordon gone we'll have the cap space.

    Burke/Vasquez
    Muhammad/Rivers
    2014 pick/Miller
    Davis/Anderson
    Jordan/Lopez or Lopez/Jordan

Good young core and it allows us flexibility to bring in a guy here or there if somebody doesn't work out. Most importantly the we have cap space to sign our on young players to extensions when it's time.

Maybe you over looked the trade Gordon part. We may have to take back some salary but with Gordon gone we'll have plenty.

No I didn't overlook that part, but with what team do you think we can trade? Any scenario case?

I could see the T'Wolves as potential trade partners. They have a short shelf life with Love.

I would love that, and Bazz OR Oladipo could drop. The last ESPN lotto mock I did had us taking CJ Mac at 6 and the TWolves taking Oladipo with Bazz going to Portland right behind them.
    Wherehappens.

I would not mind it so much, but i prefer the combo Burke and Oladipo.
And it would not be enough in return for Gordon depending in what other player they add.
Anyway i don't think we will see many changes this offseason.

If we end up with a top 3 pick, yes. Anything lower than that, not so much.
