The sarcasm was not lost on me. I get that. I was just ranting not necessarily @ you. I read this argument all of the time so I just wanted to get that out of my system. i was basically addressing the issue not you. It just came off like I was flaming you. Sorry dude.

If this thread was made in an attempt to compare Jordan and McGee in any way, then please do so but please try to remain civil.

Can someone (...anyone) point out the significant difference between Deandre Jordan's game and Tyson Chandler?

Tyson's entire offensive game is put backs and ally oops. Why can't Jordan be Chandler 2.0?

My only answer to that -- and keep in mind this isn't something I researched, just something I perceive -- is that it seems to me like Tyson knows how to position himself to get those points. He is a smart player, he knows his role and how to fill it. It's certainly possible that Deandre could learn that with time, but that to me is the difference right now.

Tyson is 30. Jordan is 24.

But compare 24 year old Jordan to 24 year old Tyson, and there are a lot of similarities.

Tyson didnt average double digit points or rebounds his first 5 years in the league! His best season as a Hornet, Tyson avg just under 12 pts, 12 rebs, and 1 block.

Jordan should easily be able to reach those lofty numbers!

I think we discussed this in another thread yesterday. No!
