Not dwelling on the past but...

I counted 12 former Hornets in the playoffs. When you look at the roster it's pretty good

    Jered Bayless
    Quincy Pondexter
    Jarrett Jack
    Carl Landry
    Chris Anderson
    Marco Belenelli
    David West
    Tyson Chandler
    JR Smith
    Brandon Bass
    Chris Paul
    Willie Green

I think hypothetically if that group were together they could make some noise. The bench would be very deep except at center.

It's kind of a bummer - especially that we used to have Paul, West ,and Chandler.

As far as many of the other players (Jack, Landry, Belly Nelly, Birdman, Poindexter) - they're role players that are better served on excellent teams that give them opportunities to do the one or two things that they are good at.

Bayless was HORRIBLE with the hornets, I'm kind of surprised he's a solid contributor now.

I think its on coaching. Maybe Monty was a bad coach for the guys to succeed here.

So You either fall in line with Monty's way or hit the highway.

Being obdurately unwilling to compromise? I hope it isn't like that. That would hurt him in the long run, especially in a slow burning rebuild like this.

What? You mean the one year Monty had Paul where Ariza and Marco were starting and West went down? That was Montys fault that they didn't succeed? I mean Monty isn't a phenom, but what?

I like the new team too and think well be fine in two years but I was just saying a lot of talent has come and gone the last decade

The same could be said of most professional sports teams.
