You, sir, are the one without an argument. I made mine, and you failed to address it (because you can't).
I was checking at oRPG and ORR. You are also picking at one stat to tell me he has no low IQ playing the game. As I said you gotta watch the games not only the stats.

I don't know why I am even arguing with you about it, you said it all when you wrote that Tyson Chandler is a top tier player and DRose is not. I just had to, because I found it ridiculous.

But ok, the fat ***** for you, Chandler is a top tier guy in this league.

OFFENSIVE RATING, not offensive rebounds. What would that have to do with bball iq?

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

    @ BallSoHard:

I don't quote you because it's too long :P I know players like Durant or Kobe got more techs but then it's when you (me) have to watch the games and not just focus on stats. As I said, the stats doesn't tell the whole story.
And Chandler every year has a place in the top of these.

Chandler with the best FG% of the lg? Again, you gotta watch the games, to me it screams he's useless in offense because all he does is alleyoops and putbacks.
Now, tell me about the sample size of shots, it's not the same to shot 200 times than 1000 times, or is it?

You're assuming we don't watch the games too. I have league pass and season tickets. I love basketball and I watch pretty much every team out there. Stats just back up or refute what you think. You're looking at this as a standpoint of his variety of skills; and that (sorry) is simply not Offensive basketball IQ. It's skill-set. Completely different. The reason i'm saying he has BBall Iq is he doesn't do what he's not good at. To me that's VERY basketball intelligent. When he gets offensive rebounds it's usually a slap back because he knows where his guys are. He pretty much invented that. It take intelligence and awareness to know that when you're going for an offensive rebound; your guards are already starting to back pedal to play Defense and to hit it back to them. Rarely do i see his slap back go to an opponent. Secondly, he won and is considered one of the best Defensive minds (on the court) in basketball. He understand positioning, help defense, calls out rotations to his guys and is the anchor for his Defense.

Regarding the sample size: J.R. Smith has a much larger sample size of shot, do you think he has better IQ than Chandler with his crazy shot attempts?

I was talking in general about "watching the games" just to not focus only in stats. I suppose most of you (people in this forum) watch lots of games. Otherwise it was not my intention to sound harsh.
I just don't share the Chandler is a top tier guy in this league nor that he has a high IQ.
    That's it.

Smith has less BBALL IQ than Chandler.

I'm do not rank Chandler as a top tier guy. I don't think 42 does as well (correct me if i'm wrong). I think he's ranking people he'd prefer over Rose in terms of having to win a game right now (player ranking). Really if I had to rank top tier (I know i said top 5 earlier) but there's probably 2 guys in it. Durant and LeBron (Lebron with the edge bc he plays better D). Tier 2 would be a bit bigger (maybe 3-5 players) and tier 3 would have a lot of guys 42 named including Rose (think he's more of a fringe 2 at best).

    You assumed correctly, BSH.

And this guy continues to argue things I haven't claimed with data that is ot really. It is fun sometimes. Nice work breaks.

5 players better and more. Not top 5 in the NBA.

Learn to read what I write.

ETA: And anyone in a uniform when he is in a suit.

You said Chandler is better than Rose, and your puting him next to the names of Lebron, Durant and Paul. Your puting him on the tops, not necessarily in the top 5.
So don't say to BallSoHard he assumed correctly that you were ranking people you'd prefer over Rose, because that's not what you said. Check the quote above once again.

Do I have to give you everything chewed?

Chandler doesn't precisely show off for being a healthy guy, he's actually made of glass.

Keep arguing against claims that are not made. This is that because it's next to that?

And stop quoting me and saying I mean something other than what's quoted.

And by stop, I mean continue to entertain me and the people laughing at you. They are.

Tyson "Glass" Chandler logged 66 of 82 regular season games this season, 62 of 66 last, 74 of 82 before that.

    James had 76, 62, 79.

    Rose had 0, 39, 81.

Then again, I'm counting with numbers and all, so this is probably all wrong in your mind.

First off, Rose is a coward plain and simple. He's been medically cleared by doctors for almost 3 months now and been going 5 on 5 full contact for almost two months but he can't play in a game??!?!!?? Gtfoh with that BS. I've lost all respect for him watching his team mates (who his bother claims aren't enough help), get spinal taps, throw up on the sidelines, play through plantar fasciitis (Noah has been quoted as saying it feels like needles stabbing his heel every step), trying to play through torn calf muscles, all since the playoffs started, while he wears his suit and collects his 18 million. This guy is a coward plain and simple and doesn't have the heart of a champion.

Second of all, anybody who says Tyson Chandler has a low bball IQ is insane. Guy is the best defensive player in the entire league, and as ball so hard has said knows his role on the offensive side and doesn't do anything he shouldn't. Another great move by Bower getting rid of him (eventhough it was really our idiot doctors who said he had a degenerative ankle or toe problem). I bet Cuban wishes he wouldn't of let him go two summers ago too. What a great move that was. He wasted Dirk's prime years trying to get a superstar when he already had one. If I had to choose between Rose and Chandler I'm taking Tyson. Mainly because I think Rose is a little gutless ***** though.

EDIT:forgot to include that I have a buddy who's a huge Bulls fan and he claims that the Bulls can recoup every $ of Rose's salary from this season if he doesn't play one minute (preseason, season or playoffs) this season. This makes sense, but still doesn't make me think any different of Rose.

Even if they don't lose the money as a franchise, they are still constrained in how to spend it on players, since to get another $x in players, they will basically have had to pay the tax, and insurance does not cover this.

Hmmm, looks like veiled cussing is ok now.

    Go Pels!

Can't we just get back to: bashing on GV, defending Rivers, and ludicrous trade proposals? I mean come on now folks, we have important issues to attack on a daily basis.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Joey Crawford refs the Heat vs. Bulls tonight. What is the over/under on fouls tonight, techs, ejections? Gosh this could a dangerous drinking game.

Hahaha...Crawford thinks he's a superstar. I'll never forget the block he called. He started doing some kind of block hop and took about 5-6 hops down the court!! Lmao..old guy just getting his shine tho before he calls it a day. Can't blame him. Lol?.i also put the over under on techs called at 2...fouls called at 19 for the home team and 23 for the away team. Ejections at 1. Get your drinking games going now!!!!!

  21. #696

Is there some sort of rule Lebron can not be ejected?

Lebron hasn't really done anything in this game to warrant an ejection. At least not yet. LOL. Lebron and Nazr were already separated and Nazr came with the big push. It was already broken up so no real need for that action.

    Has he EVER been ejected?

I know one thing, Joe Crawford seems to LOVE these types of games.
