That's a nightmare, not a dream. If we sucked all season for him I'd be highly upset.

And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Why? He's moving up the boards now that things have settled down a bit. Looks like he can go as high as 5 in this draft.

We need to draft SF or PG this draft, and go for a C in the next one (unless we end up in a BPA scenario or we dont find a solid SF this year). I actually dont hate the dipo anymore because it gives us a solid backup and potential successor once EJ's contract runs out. We can also move Rivers to the one where hes better built to play anyways.

Lol I was aware of the video. I'm not to high on him neither...

Not senior. But redshirt jr is close enough for Lillard. Wasn't his junior year the injury that gave him the med redshirt?

I hope that we land a top pick and someone wants Burke really bad... then we can trade back and draft Bazz while signing one of the top 3 FA PGs this offseason.

Ideally of course. I have no problem w/ McLemore, Burke, or Bazz. I just don't think Porter will have enough star power for a top 5 pick. He's more role than it factor.

He can play SG for us with Rivers being primary ball handler. I suggest reading Draft express as a write up on him. This guy was clearly trying to say he wasn't a top 10 draft pick and so he edited his video accordingly. He showed FAR more misses than realistic. CJ shot 49.5% from the field and 51.6% from 3pt his last year before injury. He lead the nation is points per game too with 25.7ppg. He was on a team where he was the only NBA talent, was constantly the main focus of pressure, and was still able to produce. He's got plenty to work on but that video made him look worse than he is by a good bit.

With him and Rivers in the back court you have two players that can both drive and get to the basket, both can play the pick and role, both can spot up or iso, both can main handle the ball. If you really want the ability to trade Gordon you draft this guy because Rivers is already the PG and I just don't see the Pels taking Burke to push him back to SG, a position he doesn't want to play. You get this guy, you trade Gordon for a SF and you have your young core.

    Good post.
IMO I dont think we will picking top 5 so I think this guy at 6-8
    will be better than Bazz.

Just wish he was taller to play the 2

Every shooting PG can be Curry the same way every athletic centers ceiling is Dwight Howard. CJ doesn't even seem like a point in the NBA, in my opinion.

That's not the comparison at all and you know it. The point was that CJ can shoot just that well in college.

Most of us didn't even think that Curry could do this well, be honest.

Fair enough man. I'm by no means a prospect expert and if he ends up better than I gave him credit for then I'll eat my crow with hot sauce (Especially if we draft him )

Where u guys think Bennett winds up playing his nba career?? Meaning position. I can't pin point it. Think he's too small for the 4 IMO. Then is he's a 3 he will get blown by.

He'll play the 4, like Dejauan Blair with a lot more range.

Like Thomas Robinson last season, I think Bennett's ceiling is about a Paul Milsaps. While I like his game better than Robinson, I don't think he's as good as Milsaps either. It's just not a good practice to draft undersized PF's. Look at Robinson, look at Derrick Williams, look at Michael Beasley, etc etc. Thankfully, we have zero need for a PF and have no chance at drafting him. I do think he can be a Carl Landry type and have a long productive career.

    Unless you believe Davis is a 5 (I don't)

I would hold off on judging Robinson and Williams as far as being undersized PF. Williams especially he's a true tweener so he's a 3 just as much as a 4. Beasley problem is less about his size and more about his habits.

Nah it's all good dude sorry if that came across abrasive. I think that whoever gets CJ is gonna get a GIFT if he stays healthy.

Williams is not a 3. Never has been and never will be. If he was, the TWolves would be thrilled throwing him in next to Love and Pekovic. The problem with Williams is he can't cover NBA SF's. Adelman looked at him day one and said he would not be a SF. He's got a decent offensive game, and can give you some scoring off the bench, but no winning team is starting D-Will at the 4, and nobody in their right mind would start him at the 3.

Robinson is exactly what I thought he would be. An undersized PF. He never really played defense in college, so he was already starting behind the eight ball. Now he is going to struggle to get his shot off, and to rebound. That's not a good combination, one that got him traded in his first season.

Beasley again has had to play SF because of his size. He's not going to play a lick of defense against an NBA SF. All of those numbers look great, but he is a low percentage scorer because he is used to playing close to the basket. When you consider how awful he is on defense, he is an albatross for the team.

So because Nash is a poor defender he's not a point guard? Young offensives player usually struggle on defense. As good as Kyrie Irving is his defense is suspect.
