Draft- Anthony Bennett to have Surgery

    http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2013/sto...ery-agent-says

UNLV draft prospect Anthony Bennett will have rotator cuff surgery on his left shoulder Wednesday, agent Jeff Schwartz told ESPN.com.

Bennett will miss all NBA pre-draft workouts, the NBA draft combine and summer league, Schwartz said. The surgery could keep Bennett out of commission up to four months.
So now it's Len and Bennett that may take slight falls down the board.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Getting lucky in the lottery is not slipping to #6. Anything else is almost lagniappe.

If we are to snag Burke or Oladipo, gotta get a top 3 pick.

What's our position now? AT 6?

I'm not sure Burke becomes a top 3 pick though. I think if we're 4 we can snag Burke.

5, as long as we stay at 5 we are fine and will get a very good player. the trick is we cannot go under 5.

As long as we get top 5 we can get Noel, Mclemore, Burke, Porter, Oladipo. I would take any single one of them in a split second, preferably anyone of those 5 besides Noel.

I thought we could only get a top 3 pick than 5-8 depending on if any of the teams 6-14 jumps into the top 3 or not.

Gonna be fun to watch the lottery and know that once we get to 6 and 5 if we don't see our names, we're guaranteed a top 3.

It's funny but that's really is the best position in this draft.

Yeah, you're not "forced" to take anyone.

agreed, its the best value wise, if we land the #1 pick I would really hope we could trade down to 3 or 4.

First 4 picks as of now I'd say are Noel, Mclemore, Porter and Oladipo. I'm hoping for a top 4 pick if not we will be with Burke, Bennett or Bazz. Not to say those players aren't good but PLEASE get a top 4.

agree, if the order stays as is:

    magic - mclemore
    bobcats - noel
    cavs - porter
    suns - oladipo
    peliCANS- burke

I have a feeling we won't draft anyone we can't work out. Williams and Demps seems pretty high on seeing the prospects abilities first hand.
