Ok your right man. Kobe is just as good as he was in 2003 and wade is just as good as he was in 2006-07...your right. They aren't in decline. Lol

Petulance. Don't do that. You've been given good answers. Give back.

Riley and kupchak both would trade wade and Kobe for rose right now without seeing him play another game. Fact. It's as simple as that.

"I mean, let's talk about the obvious," Wade said. "Guys get older. That's obvious. Yes, I've gotten older. Yes, my game has changed. But let's talk production. I'm a productive player. My numbers show it. I buy into the efficiency numbers – more than I should and it drives me crazy that I buy into it. I look around the league and see guys shooting 41 percent and they're getting patted on the back. I'm shooting 52 percent and I'm on the decline?"

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I have been watching basketball since 89-90 faithfully. I watched mj decline. I'm watching the game right now. I don't need to go dig up stats on both these guys to prove a point that 99.9% of the public and the nba would agree with me on. To say Kobe and wade aren't in the declining years of their careers is just ridiculous.

    The Warriors inexperience is showing.

Damnit GS... Just win the game and stop teasing me.

Spurs doing it good. What a game

    I love Leonard's game.

Show me where I said they aren't effective anymore?? I said they aren't the same players they used to be. It's a fact. Their athleticism has lots to do with it. Kobe is plotting retirement dude. Why would he plot retirement is he isn't on the decline?? This is stupid. I'm done now. No matter how many charts u research will not change the fact that the guys are in the declining stage of their careers.

Curry's shot is as much of a gift as it is a curse. He relies on it too much at times.

Their athleticism is fading, not their game. Their getting smarter and playing smarter. When is a man truly at his apex? When he's the best looking and in physical and sexual prime, at his wisest state or somewhere in-between? Medicine as well as playing knowing how to take care of themselves better allow these players greatest years to be extended past the "norm" that we're used to (the Jordan Years). Kobe is the first of the batch.

Ok. Kick and scream that you're right; but don't back it up. Seems fair.

I would say if you change your wording you'd maybe be correct. "Decline" would show a decrease of talent, stats, etc. That isn't the case. Kobe had one of if not the best most productive year of his career. That's not decline sir, very very far from it. Now if you said they are old and their bodies won't allow them to do this much longer I would agree. But "decline", no, not at all. I'm speaking strictly of Kobe, no one else.

Kobe has adapted with age. He doesnt do the things he used to be capable of doing, but hes perfected the basic aspects of scoring.

What I first said was they aren't the players they used to be. They aren't. They have hit their peak years. Have they not? If u have already peaked then it's downhill from there. That is called the declining years of your career.

Very true. Good point. Jordan didn't have access to Regenokine procedures in Germany...lol New technology=longer, more productive careers.
