Watching Chris Paul and Steph Curry the last games makes me want to draft Trey Burke even more than I already did.

    So do I.
Unfortunately I think the FO have their sights set on Rivers playing PG.

I'd much rather they went the direction with River's at SG, because I don't see Gordon hanging around for when the Pel's are ready to contend.

I still think all the talk about River's being groomed into a PG was just as much to appease Gordon more than anything.

At pick 4, 5, or 6 I think Burke is the best and safest pick and we should draft him regardless if we need a PG or not.

Who know's what will eventuate by the deadline or the end of 2013/14.

Since you mention Steph Curry what are your thoughts on C J McCollum?
Apparently he has the same comparisons as S. Curry.
Why isn't he higher on the board?
Is it due to his age and broken foot?

Yep and Monta was 0-3. I would've put Wade and Chalmers' combined 3 pt shooting, but they only took one (and made it.)

CJ plays for a smaller school and that's always a "yellow" flag for a lot of GM*see Lillard*. As far as his comparison to Curry I'm sure a lot has to due with the fact they both played at smaller schools, are about the same height, and were both heavy scoring guards. I think McCullum is a better athlete than Curry, but isn't the pure shooter as Steph.

The East must have been TERRIBLE this year if this Milwaukee team made it to the playoffs.

The East has been this bad for like the last 10+ years.

e: The Nets went through a period tonight where they scored 4 points in 12 minutes.

Welp Westbrook misses his first game ever in the NBA..... Hopefully Velvet Hoop (Durant, idk no one ever refer to him as that) becomes "1st" that he is trying to become.

Time for the Durantula to show up.
    Wherehappens.

This is why I place so much stock into building via the draft. OKC window for a title is huge. They managed to lose their 2nd best player at possibly the worst time and I still think they win a title before that core is broken up.

Sucks for OKC and especially Westbrook. He was topping off a career year.

The thing I hate most about this... I can seriously see the Clippers making the WCF finals now.

That core is broken up without Harden.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

    Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka

Harden was a part of the core but it's still a championship level core without him.

No its not. They can't win with Westbrook as the second best player and Ibaka is basically a 6'10 jumpshooter/shot blocker. Its Durant or bust.

I hope AD saw that hookshot by Duncan.

I have my issues with Westbrook, but I fail to see how the Number 1 team in the West isn't consider a championship level team.
