I'll have to do a little catching up on this. How much time do I have?

  2. #727
It is impossible for me to catch up on this so I'm taking Michael Jordan.

The Kings select Ed Davis, PF

Ed Davis brings a very versatile offensive game to the Kings. He can post you up, he can roll to the basket, he can hit a midrange jumper, he can grab offensive boards and slam it back home (10.1 offensive rebound rate). He can do it all, he's a often unrecognized and undervalued player. Davis scores 0.86 points in the post good for 60th overall, only .2 points shy of Carl Landry's 0.88 points in the post, just to give an idea of how good he is. Rolling to the basket he's even better, averaging 1.05 points per play, which is good for 45th overall. He also shoots 44% from mid range which is comparable to such players as LaMarcus Aldridge (44%), David West (42%), and Dirk Nowitzki (45%).

He's also a good player defensively. Allowing 0.95 points per play and a 96 defensive rating. He posts a very solid 23.1 defensive rebound rate and has a block rate of 4.2% which is comparable to guys like Dwight Howard and Joakim Noah. He also uses his length (7 ft wingspan) and athleticism well in the pick and roll game as he ranks 67th overall.

I let it sim because AD23forMVP was eager to pick. I'm glad Felton was picked because I was seriously thinking the only PG left was someone less than desirable.
