Alright not posting this to disrespect or flame, but this is CJ Calhoun: https://www.facebook.com/cj.calhoun.94

This is who I think you're thinking of CJ McCollum: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-bask...02/cj-mccollum

Why is it so hard to type CJ McCollum? It's not CJ Calhoun.

I wish I could come up with 30+ rookies I would take over Rivers, but I can't. They were all equally bad. I mean hell there is a 35 year old rookie outperforming 1/2 the class. What does that say about things? The majority of the 2012-2013 draft class won't get a second contract. And if Rivers didnt have the name, he would be one of them (based of what we saw last year). He is here now, so lets hope that he improves.

Rivers is on the team. Rivers will be a second year player, not a rookie. There is no reason why it shouldn't be an open competition at PG even if the Pelicans DO draft Burke.
    Wherehappens.

    Eric Bledsoe or Trey Burke

After watching Bledsoe exclusively, I'd be ecstatic to get him. Would you guys trade our pick for Bledsoe if Dipo, Burke, Porter, and Noel are gone?

No because that means Smart and McLemore would be on the board.

Trey is the next CP. You can see it in him.

Burke won't have near the impact on the game Chris does/did for us.

This a joke, say rivers never becomes a scorer, which he will, his lock down defense is plenty enough to earn him a spot, ask kobe.

You are right Burke's is gonna have a 100% greater impact for the Pelicans than CP. Can't wait to see him hoisting up that finals MVP.

You're giving the kid unreal expectations before he's even been drafted

I like Burke as a prospect as much as anybody(maybe even more), but projecting him to have a Chris Paul type impact may be a little bit much.

    Pretty certain that's Davis' trophy.

I'd be more interested to see who the majority would prefer out of Burke vs Smart.

I'd vote Smart as well. I want him over any player in the draft.

  24. #74
I don't get the Smart love. I haven't watched a lot of his games, but the little that I did watch, I just wasn't impressed at all. Can anyone sell me on him please? I know he fills up the stat sheet, but I'm afraid he won't be athletic enough to defend NBA PGs. His shooting % worries me as well.

Whoa now. 6'3 235 and strong, he will be an excellent defender under the right coach teaching him.
