Honestly I think Aminu destroys Porter in practice. That athleticism is undeniable. But everyone will want Porter cause he is the better shooter but Aminu better than him in every other part of the game while being the vastly superior athlete.
We want more! We want more!

I think if we get porter people need to think in terms of Aminu AND Porter not OR. I'd prefer Aminu off the bench bc I think he can guard the 4 as well.

Mclemore isn't that bad of a #1 over pick; but if I could work this years pick into a unprotected lottery pick next year witha bottom-feeder. (Assuming ofcourse the pick is #1 overall)
    Id say go for it.

That's just me dreaming tho lol

I would rather porter off the bench cause we need more bench scoring. With a Healthy Gordon, AD, and Lopez in the starting lineup defense and rebounding more important for the starters. But to be honest I don't like porter at all he is overrated in my opinion. Him and Zeller are the two guys I don't see the athleticism in them to get the job done in the NBA

I'm assuming Vasquez and Lopez will be on the bench as well. So that's why I'm thinking like that.

I thought we could only offer Aminu the QO bc we didnt pick up his option. Am i right or can we actually sign him to a reasonable long term contact?

Ok I can see that but who is the PG and C if we draft Porter. By the way I have always been cool with the Rivers at PG plan and I am waiting patiently for them to finally do it.

He is an unrestricted FA and we can treat him like every other team will.

BEst case scenario in my opinion is to get a high pick, trade back to around 6-7, draft shabbazz

Ahh cool. Yeah someone made a meal of his situation and apparently we had little chance of re signing him. So i got confused; thanks for the clarification

Based on him not celebrating a game winning shot?

Among other things. I have seen that on a few draft evaluations for him.

It's said that if he's not coddled to and treated like the franchise cornerstone, he'll throw a hissy fit and not get along with anyone?

Where? Not to mention it's only someone's opinion. No telling how he'll actually react until he's drafted somewhere. And note I only lobby for him in this regard because of the apparent hyperbole.

Based on what? Those two have never interacted, nor do you know them personally. Sounds ridiculous. Its pure speculation.

Is that not what he did? Did you see the video of that shot? But hey it's just my opinion

No don't know them personally but having one guy who gives his all on both sides of the floor and another who dogs it on defense don't seem like to guys who will mesh well together. Especially when they both want to be the Man. But maybe Davis will let be the man. Who knows?

Still rather Bazz over Len if that's what it comes to.

Continuing the devil's advocate, I also saw the shot that he didn't celebrate. It was a very bad shot, drifting away from the basket and the player's shooting arm with loads of defensive pressure. Maybe he counted the team more lucky they won than just being despondent because he didn't get the ball.

What's wrong with Len. Think he will be a better Pro than Bazz. Just may take a little longer.

I'm talking more about the his hissy fit he threw before the shot, not celebrating after the shot is a whole nother story.

I like having Lopez next year instead of drafting Len because next years draft class I feel will have better bigs that may be mod first round material that are better than Len this year with a top 6 pick.

That may be true but you can definitely get an upgrade on Bazz next year with that thinking. He not really top 6 this year. But neither is Len.
