Best overall player I think is a toss up between Noel and Mclemore, if I had to take one I'd take Noel and do whatever i could to put together a trade to land us a decent SF.
Much rather trade down to around 4th and land smart, porter or burke
My dream scenario is to land otto porter, move gordon to PG, sign OJ Mayo and trade for a Center. But i'm no GM and im gonna be told Gordon cant play PG.
    gordon
    mayo
    porter
    davis
    whoever

listening to Monty's interview... sounds like AD will get a MRI as soon as the plane lands in NOLA (roughly 5AM)... they'll take him right to the docs to get the knee looked at

also said he should have taken Vasquez out the game b/c his ankles were apparently hurting as well

edit: Monty seemed optimistic on Davis though
"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin

didn't want to speculate... did say AD was walking around the locker room

(and obviously had ice on it)

Monty on Anthony Davis knee: "I think he's OK. I don't want to jump the gun... We've got to let the doctors check him out to make sure."
Jim Eichenhofer @Jim_Eichenhofer 4 minutes ago

Monty Williams said Anthony Davis will be examined Thursday in NOLA. Monty: "He's walking around. He's got ice on it. He's a little sore."

That little shouting match with Monty seemed to have lit a fire up under his ***.

there are times to be in the ball game and times when you shouldn't be in there.....someone has to be able to decipher needed minutes from unnecessary ones.....

Yup, someone needed to put him in check, but not only that, show him that monty believes in him, which I think he did, it is good for monty to push Gordon.

McLemore, Smart, or Noel. I would have to see how they do at the combine and how Noel's knee is looking before I could choose between the three. Those are the best three players in the draft this year and I would love to add any of them. I think they're tier a and tier b is made up of Bazz, Porter, Burke, and Oladipo. I think we'll be choosing from tier b.

Say those 3 are gone, would u take porter, burke, bazz or oladipo, for me its porter because of our need at SF and a huge crop of FA PG's.

That's so tough because I really like all 4 prospects, but I'd have to choose Porter.

    I disagree.

I think there are as many realistic FA SF's available as PG's.

PG: Jennings, Teague, Douglas, Maynor, Beaubois, Augustin and CP3 (not realistic)

SF: Budinger, Webster, Brewer, T. Evans, D. Wright, Babbit.

In my opinion none of the guys u listed are starter material at SF, maybe budinger, and i look at tyreke as a bad SF, he is best attacking with the ball in his hands and isnt a good spot up shooter which i think we need next to gordon personally. Just my take though, i could be wrong.

If Reke plays as our SF, then he'll be a slasher, which is what we wish Aminu was. Ability to get to the rim and score or get fouled.

You don't HAVE to just be able to jack up 3s.

Brian Roberts was MVP on our team last night.

I want to find a way to get Jimmer on our bench.

Why AD plays any games from here in out is on poor coaching.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I know that but with 2 slashers like rivers and gordon, if u would have a 3rd one it would shrink the court, on our team i think we need someone who can hit the 3 consistently from the SF spot.

Really not putting Gordon in our future, to be quite honest.
