He seems to try and take the offensive load of the bench on his shoulders, which he really can't do, he is a complimentary player and it stops the ball movement, in turn hampering the offense. I love his abilities but just think he needs to spread the ball more often, if he starts doing that he will get more wide-open shots as defenses won't be aware all he intends to do is get his shot off.
He's doing what he is being asked to do. We also don't exactly have a lot of sharp shooters or penetrators out there with him.

When AD gets those tip ins, does he get credit for a rebound and 2 points?

Hornets look like they're going thru the motions. Must be one of the "T" games.

    EJ misses 2 FTs?
"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin

I just find when we swing the ball and get reversal and the defense hustling, the ball always stops with him, where one pass away is a wide open Darius Miller or Bryan Roberts someone cutting to the rack. But he takes a contested 25 footer. Don't know about you but I would rather a wide open three (often corner ones) for Roberts and Miller who are both good shooters.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Are you sure there is an angle there for him to see those guys and make the pass? Is the defender in a position to make the pass difficult? Are there defenders close enough to those other players that a less than excellent pass will get picked off? Is there enough time left in the shot clock for a pass and shot?

I haven't really paid close enough attention to answer those questions.

I wonder what it would take to get Jimmer over here. He is just waisting away in Sacramento.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I'd rather just draft Trey Burke. He has the same range, but is a better passer and athlete.

gordon attracts so much attention, everytime he drives he gets doubled and someone is open at the 3 point line and he ussualy makes a good pass.

If Monty didn't like Thornton, he'd think Jimmer is the anti-Christ.

    Still prone to crazy stuff.

I find on the reversal when he is close to straight away and the defense has overloaded the strong side, there's super easy passes that couldn't be picked off in a million years and no way a defender could get to the shooter. I'd try find video but I cbfed, I'm sure he will do it again soon enough, although our offense is even worse tonight than usual

I'd take him as our token crazy person on the team.
