I usually rag on this guy more than any other Hornet, but last night he shut me up. He didn't have an amazing stat line or anything, somewhat efficient for him (7 points on 4 shots, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block), but it was the little things from last night's game that impressed me.
The dribble drive he had in the first half to get the dunk, not backing down from a drugged-up MWP, doing an okay job defending Kobe 1 on 1, actually hit that ridiculously long jumper a few times... Just feels like that was the first game in a long time where he played like he deserved to be there.
I still don't want him on the team next year, but props X.
Anyone else surprised by his performance against the Lakers?
