    Xavier Henry

I usually rag on this guy more than any other Hornet, but last night he shut me up. He didn't have an amazing stat line or anything, somewhat efficient for him (7 points on 4 shots, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block), but it was the little things from last night's game that impressed me.

The dribble drive he had in the first half to get the dunk, not backing down from a drugged-up MWP, doing an okay job defending Kobe 1 on 1, actually hit that ridiculously long jumper a few times... Just feels like that was the first game in a long time where he played like he deserved to be there.

I still don't want him on the team next year, but props X.

Anyone else surprised by his performance against the Lakers?

If he can continue that, I wouldn't mind having him as a bench player making minimum salary.

Yea its all about consistency with Xavier. He's shown flashes of talent just has to keep it up. I'm fine with keeping him on the bench on the cheap cheap cheap.

There's no way MWP isn't on something.

And X keeps doing this to us. He'll make no contribution or rarely get on the court, but then one game rolls around where he actually looks like he knows what to do. It's those other games where he just stands around on offense is what kills me.

Guy was playing really solid D last nigh against Kobe. He seemed like he was playing inspired for the first time in a long time. Wish he would've had this game a long time ago, but its probably to late for ole X.

He really played very well last night. Two nice quick curls to the basket, solid D on Kobe (he caused kobe to trip on himself at the top of the key that time which led to a fast break), and hustle (the lose ball in the corner where he knocked it off Kobe)

He has slightly more pure talent than darius miller. He's a better athlete, with more hang time on his drives and jumper; but miller just plays harder more consistently.

I think Xavier has a fine bball IQ, i think his inconsistency is due to a lack of motor, confidence, and playing tight cuz he knows he doesn't have much wiggle room or he's coming out. A big part is a lack of confidence in his jumper. His form is good so if he can tune it up and start knocking them down I think we'd see a different Xavier
