"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

So he's 1 year out of his prime and he suddenly drops off the planet ? Come on man...
Not only that but horfords game isn't really built on athleticism.
Dude when did i say just because he is 1 year out of his athletic prime did i say he drops of the planet? good lord stop putting words in my mouth, all i said was he will be out of his prime, regardless of it is for 1 year or 100 years it is what is, never did i say because he is though he wouldnt be a good player, stop assuming so much.
Guru.....you touched upon someone earlier that I have touted for a good while now....I don't know what it would take, but I would love to get Vucevic away from Orlando
"we might make dollars, but we don't necessarily make sense"
"always be sincere....whether you mean it or not"
Nikola Vucevic's advanced metrics are rather unimpressive. Only thing that sticks out is that he is a good rebounder. Other than that, his TS% is low, his Offensive Rating is low, his Defensive Rating is high (bad thing), and his WS/48 is only .104. I haven't watched him much, so I can't comment on his game. I wouldn't give up too much for him though...
I don't know who we could get, but it's vital that we upgrade Lopez. He's way to slow to guard the pick and roll, doesn't rebound. Need an upgrade.
I'm usually in the camp of trust your eyes vs. statistics. I like to incorporate them when I can, but definitely I trust what I'm seeing on the court more than what I'm seeing in the box score. That said, I can't give a true evaluation on Vucevic because I really haven't watched him play.
maybe its me, but quite a few of the metrics and stats I see seem to be influenced by the system someone is in and to a certain extent, who he is playing with as well....so, yes, you really do have to watch and assess someone before you can really project what he might. or might not be capable of
