Personally I think this redraft should be more about who can build the best team and not who can make the best trades.

    Agree'd.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I just think all the trading takes away or overshadows what this redraft is really meant for.

I really like my team a lot, but I've considered dropping out. I'm just going to do like loco said and not even consider trades.

Same. I'll use my 12 picks where they are and see how it ends up. So far not good. I didn't expect the big man rush in the 2nd round.

That pretty much sums it up.

There have only been what.... 4 or 5 trades and bball already has the draft order updated? Last year there were well over 50. None of the trades have been that one sided. Every team has a chance.

At the very least every team should be required to have a certain number of picks. If you have 9 rounds, you should have 9 picks. You have 4 picks and have already used 1 of them. That obviously means you only have 3 picks left in the entire draft.

Same rules apply. I know you don't want to hear this but you probably won't be able to field a competitive team because of the trades you've made. So not everyone has a fair chance.

Hahah ok yes durant, aldridge and cousins wont give me a fair team.

Takes 12 players, not 3. And Aldridge and Cousins are a poor fit together.

Take a look at this years Portland team. They have a solid starting 5 but have no bench and are 5 games below .500 because of it.

You don't pick again for another 131 picks, and don't pick again for another 24 picks after that. You won't be able to fill out your starting five with solid players, much less a bench that can make your team competitive.

I mean I'm sorry, but that's all because trades are being allowed.

Both Cousins and Aldridge dominate the ball. Cousins is not an efficient scorer and he will take alot of shots away from a more efficient Aldridge. Plus, neither will defend that well.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

I don't like the idea of trading picks either. I think there would be alot more parity if no trades were allowed.

Durant is also ball dominant, or should be; so who do you run your offense through? Do you let cousins and Aldridge take away shots from Durant?

Yeah I dont think Cousins is a great fit for that team, plus I think hes overrated based on his potential, and hes an idiot

I could probably write a couple paragraphs on why they are a poor fit together. To go a little farther than you neither are great rebounders. That team wouldn't be a strong rebounding team. Neither are great defenders on the block. Neither are good pick and roll defenders. Neither will protect the rim, neither are known for their shot blocking abilities (in fact I'd say that would be one of the poorer shot blocking big man combos in the league). Average defensive rating of 107. That front court would get eaten alive inside.

^ aldridge is the best mid range shooting big men inthe league. A two man game between him and durant is lethal. If the 2 man is game not working cousins is one of the best low post scorers in the league. He has been close to dominant the 2d half of this season. Durant plays with a much more ball dominant player in westbrook and has no problem.

On defense i have 3 7 footers( or close to it) on the front line so defense will mot be a problem. The front court can score in every way possible and durant would run the show.
