The NBA 3-pt line max distance is 285 inches, and NCAA 3-pt line max distance is 249 inches.
pi*285^2= 255,175.86/2 (semi-circle) is 127,857.932 sq.inches.
pi*249^2= 194,871.88/2 (semi-circle) is 97,390.94 sq.inches.
Put short, the distance in 3-pt area (3-pt line to baseline) between the NBA and NCAA is 30,466.99 sq. inches, or 2,538.916 sq. feet.
...not counting the little spaces between the corner threes and out of bounds lines.
I am really bored. And this sounds wrong. I am sad.
