In the short bit FSNO showed, Monty brushed off the question about Gordon, saying they just wanted "more energy coming off screens." If he really did get that upset during the game... there's clearly more at play here. You don't get that upset about player's energy on screen defense lol

    Marcus Thornton begs to differ.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

A lil bit after halftime. EG never went back into the game. Of course there was more to it but Monty won't throw the dude under the bus for a media piece. Somebody that was close to the situation is gonna spill the beans... in time.

Snippet of Gordon's comments after the game:

If Monty yelled at him and benched him, that might be the best Gordon news I've heard all year. Monty seems to read people well and knows how to push them. It always seemed to me like he handled Gordon with kid gloves, afraid that he couldn't take it. To me, this means that Monty and Gordon's relationship is at a spot where Monty feels like he can clamp down on him hard like he does with other players. Hopefully this lights a fire under Gordon.

We did that earlier in the season and it led to an even worse point differential. The slow down game is still our best chance to win.
