I want a player who will contribute straight away not another project like Rivers.
I have a feeling the staff feels the same way. I think they want to put all their focus and energy into developing Rivers/Davis this off season. I think guys like Porter, Oladipo, Zeller, Burke, and MCW are pretty high on their list for this very reason.

Burke is NCAA player of the year.

I hope we draft this kid.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I'm with you. Runner up to ROY and ROY the next year would be pretty impressive.

If they get him to start, then I guess Rivers will backup Gordon and Burke.

I'm not sure about MCW. But the other guys I do agree with. The #1 guy on that list has to be Oladipo though, imo.

Oladipo puts us ina bit of a pickle. He actually reminds me of Deng a bit but smaller. Fair or am i just comparing them bc they have African like last names ?

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I'm not sold on Burke. I feel like we will go after a more defensive minded pg

No I definitely see that, in a good way.

The notion that Burke is sup par on the defensive side is off base. Plus the dude played 40 minutes and had to push WAY harder than he should have been on the offensive side.

So every draft "expert " is wrong?

Every one doesn't say that, either.

And they also don't ever mention the point I just brought up that you glossed over

    Burke

Ok I didn't say he was bad defensively. I just don't love him like the rest of the board. I pray for a top 3 and smart as the pick or dipo or Noel or porter

If we are at 6 or 7 I would be ok taking a chance on him.

Just me. Not influenced by fletch or McNamara. Just not in love

He looks good on...defense to me. Yes, defense.

    Burke

How is he so good at 30 foot 3s?

  22. #72
Burke just spot up n hit another 3 from exact same spot as the Kansas game. Like I had said he has range n he did indeed take a good shot that night. Him doing not under pressure or clock running out in this game just proved that.

I can't believ the ref blew the whistle so quick on the last possession for Wichita st for a jump ball. Totally took the game right out of their hands. Bs

Way to go Wuggie. You will remember this day always. I still remember finishing in the top 500 going into the final 4 in 06'. You will tell that story to your grand kids.

    Go Blue!
