if we did workout a trade with gordon and lopez for vucevic and either harkless or tobias harris which would u prefer? right now tobias is averaging a very nice 16.5ppg 8.5rpg 1.5bpg in his 20 games with the magic as a rookie.
I think we would have to land a top 3 pick in the lottery before the Pacers would even entertain the idea of trading Paul George. Alot of these aren't very realistic, but they are entertaining and fun to think about. If we could land a FA like Jennings and draft Otto Porter(who for some reason, i've had a feeling we end up with in this draft for months now) I'd be very pleased.
Also, you don't mention Vasquez in any of these ideas. He's under contract next season and is a good asset whether we trade him or keep him so I don't know why you left him out of all these.
oh ya i know GV is on the roster and an asset but didnt wanna come up with a trade for him because i cant think of a real possible trade we could get for him so in the trades i made i kept his salary included but didnt put him on the roster, i could put him on the roster but dont think he will be on it.
and say we did land a top 3 pick and a player that the pacers are in love with is there im working on the salaries now to see what we could do if they did in fact pull the trigger on the trade which i think they might if they thought gordon could be healthy and they could have a burke or smart gordon granger lineup

Unless we land Smart or Burke in the draft or pickup Teague or Jenninngs in FA, I expect Vasquez to be on the roster next year. Don't see any one else available as a better option. Also, I love any ideas that end up with us trading for Cousins or Larry Sanders. I would love to pair AD with either and think it would give us the best young frountcourt in the league for the next 10 years.
So lets say the Magic would agree to trade harkles or tobias harris with vucevic for gordon and lopez
we free up 20 mil in getting rid of gordon and lopez and add 4 mil in vucevic and harris or harkless giving us 16 mil. this leaves us with 24mil total in our cap with basically 40mil to spend, sign brand jennigns to a max at 15 mil, oj mayo at 10 mil, hickson at 8 mil and budinger at 6 mil which brings us to our max cap at 65 mil. this is including in the 2 mil we would spend on our rookie pick.

these salaries are crazy and would never work but i'd sell my soul if it were possible because either of these teams are absolutely insane, but maybe we could take back a bad contract since we have so much money and just not take budinger cuz we wouldnt need to cuz we had george and miller or not take hickson or budinger because we would draft porter or bazz and have vucevic. it is possible, but i doubt it. with the pacers we could take on grangers 14mil or with the magic we could take on jameer and al harringtons combined 15 mil. I dont see the trade w the pacers happening because they wont be trying to get rid of grangers contract but i could definetly see the magic doing it so basically just cancel out hicksons 10 mil and budingers 6 mil and u got it right there and u have a team of

i could see the magic doing this because they get rid of 2 old contract when trying to build a young team and get gordon to go along with their draft pick and whoever they dont trade in harris or harkless, they dont need both so one of them is a waste or a wash so basically they are giving up vucevic for gordon but in actuality they are giving up vucevic and harkless for gordon and lopez. But if the magic really wanna be stubborn and include turkoglu's rediculous 12mil player contract we could take that on along with al harringtons 7mil for 19 mil and still have enough to do it and if we came up a couple mil short we could just get tyreke instead of mayo. This could work! lmao

If we land the any of the first three, they would play SG. If it's Burke or Smart, we would have them at PG and have Rivers and Miller split minutes at SG. That would leave us TONS of money to offer someone like Jennings or Mayo, resign Aminu, and go after another FA SF to start over him.

I think you should temper your expectations on how many moves we will make. I really see us drafting BPA and then making one mid level FA signing (Buds/Brewer/Teague etc.).
Then MAYBE trading Gordon over the summer but I really doubt it.

Why would Houston trade for Gordon when they have Harden? They won't give up Asik for him since they already have Harden.

rockets said they wanted gordon this season and made a push for him, they wanted a 3 guard backcourt with len gordon and harden
They wanted Gordon before they got Harden. After they got Harden they weren't interested. Doesn't makse sense anyway. They need more help defensively and they are going to try to use that cap space on an elite player which Gordon is not. Trading Asik and Parsons for Gordon would be foolish on their part. Foolish on our part as well long-term in my opinion. Bad trade for both sides.
