"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin

His play calling seems fine. Our players get lots of open looks (and then clang). We actually have nice offensive efficiency for the players we have. Our defense, however...

It looks nice now cuz our shots are falling. But at the end of games? Eh.

Would be sweet if Miller could turn into an offensive specialist for us.

The plays run at the end of the games are setup well with multiple looks. The execution, though... yeesh.

He may need to get a strong lead assistant coach who can help him with game management. Game management is his glaring weakness... But as a head coach that's probably the most important aspect of being a head coach.

I hope he really evaluate his in game coach & get somebody in here who can help him. He needs a Tex Winter / PJ Carlismo type lead assistant coach

In-game stuff isn't the most important part. You are right that he would do much better with a guy who has experience sitting next to him to advise him. We had that last year with what's-his-name that left for Golden State (Mike Malone?).

His end of the game coaching/play calling is questionable ..

Did Davis get in a bar fight or something? I noticed it last game I think but it looks darker tonight. Lol

Yeah Mike Malone.. I think he will be fine if he gets a strong assistant coach sitting next time . I don't think Randy Ayers is that guy

Lou Amundson did that to Davis in practice 1 day

    Lou's been apologizing since

I'm happy that he isn't running our key players into the ground. Especially in a non-playoff season.

And that our players are improving.

Health and improvement are the two things I wan out of this season. Next season, I want to push for the 8th seed.

Well getting the right players on the floor and involve with the play all goes into end of the game coaching.. As a team we have really struggled with that this season

I missed getting AD bobble-heads tonight because of a family Easter supper.
