Has to be the worst sports injury of all time i have ever witnessed. Hopefully he has no major nerve or blood vessel damage and he can regain function of that leg!

The last time I've seen a injury similarly to that was Livingston's injury. He made a full recovery and Ware will do the same.

I think Marcus Lattimore's injury was worse. Really sucks this is happening to college kids though. I'd hate it at any level but has to be really hard to go through injuries like that while still in school. I will be praying he can recover.

Yes his was much much worse!!!!
Lattimore tore all his knee ligaments but suffered no fractures. Ware suffered a severe compund fracture (the worse i have ever seen and i have seen plenty) broke bone in two places and had a huge piece of bone protruding out of the skin. The risk with breaks as severe as Wares are severe nerve damage, blood vessel damage, widspread cartilage and ligament damage. Just based on the initial injury and everything that could possibly be wrong/go wrong Wares injury is much worse than Lattimores but if he didn't cut an artery (which he likely didn't) and his nerves are ok than the bones will heal but he will need screws and pins put into his leg. There is no question this is a worse injury than Lattimores.

I heard he had a sucessful surgery. Very good news.

not only did he have the compound fracture that is in that pic but he had another full break somewhere higher up in the leg also! I hope he recovers and is back on the basketball court soon!

Obviously nothing will ever compare to richard zednicks injury in the nhl, that was the scariest, most gruesome sports related injury of all time hands down.

This injury is one of those injuries where u have to pretend its fake.
I'm almost threw up and when his teammates started to cry, it made me wanted to cry as well. Damn man this **** is sad bruh. Wow...

UPDATE:
Surgery was a success, not in "a whole lot of" pain, got to chill with the trophy for a while, and he will be joining Louisville on their trip to Atlanta. Sounds great!

I don't know why but I'm not a squeamish person at all. The picture or video doesn't really bother me.
