It's not that I don't like him, I just can't... I really don't know why I can't get behind him. Under 40% shooting and under 30% from three this year doesn't help. Under 70% from the line as well.

I know he didn't play much his freshman year, but aren't PGs supposed to improve their soph. year?

I would be happy with either Smart, Burke, or MCW. I'm not too picky over this batch of PGs.

Also, this game is getting interesting. I really like watching Big East basketball so I'm enjoying this game while it lasts.

It's the turnovers that drive me crazy with Carter-Williams. His handles aren't top notch and neither is his decision making.

I feel like he's a taller Rajon Rondo.

Mcw will be a good pg in the nba. He has the athleticism and the size to be a very good one. His handles and vision are second to none in this draft. He can knock down the 3 and mid range shot but it does need work which is fixable with hard work. I wouldn't be upset taking him at all. I was pushing him hard on this board early in the year.he went thru a bad spell for a while but who doesn't in their full 1st year? Kid has some special gifts pg wise.

Not at all. He's more athletic than Lopez, quicker feet and gets off the ground higher and quicker. He's a great shot blocker.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

This junior from 'cuse CJ Fair looks intriguing. I'm sure he's not coming out this year, but he has some game. Maybe a super late first/2nd round pick next year?

First game I've watched of Syracuse this year.

CJ is by far their most consistent player this season, gets little love after MCW and Triche.

Is he a SF/PF hybrid? Looks so fluid out there.

MCW came up big to get 'Cuse to the final 4.

Yea dude is pretty darn good. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he goes in the top10. I love his size and speed at the pg position. The turnovers and some bad decisions can and will be corrected at the next level with the right coaching. I see many mock drafts with mcw going before Burke. It'll be interesting that's for sure.

MCW. Almost like Grievis if he had the lead weights around his ankles removed.

Lol I guess that's not a bad comparison. Sort of. The difference in athleticism just kills that comparison tho.

I was actually thinking the same thing while watching. He has the size, but a lot more nimble. Handles are better, too. Right now Vasquez is better, but in 2-3 years MCW could and should be better than Vasquez.

Not buying it. Burke is great, but Michigan has a lot of talent around him. This isn't a Georgetown situation. One player isn't responsible for Michigan's success.

We've seen plenty of players who can put forth elite effort on both ends of the floor. So I'm also not buying that Burke has to choose one or the other.

I really do like Burke. But Michigan's defensive efficiency, given their team talent, is worrisome to me. Burke may have all the tools to be a fine defender, but like I say about Shabazz, I would feel way more comfortable if he actually was a great defender at this point in his career. There are plenty of guys in this league who have the physical tools to be a great defender, but for whatever reason end up being one way players.

Good thing is that he's played 2 years in Syracuse's agile and quick 2-3 zone defense, knows how to stay in front of his man and help correctly when shading.

this, I think Greivis does have more bulk though, which is a big part of his game

I like GR3 a lot. He looks like he grew an inch or 2 as well. I think he could be a fantastic role player in the NBA.

What about Austin Rivers? I think the reason most people here look at Shabazz and Burke has potential steals on the Defensive end is because we have Monty Williams. He can create defensive mosters.

I for one expected Austin to be better on offense, but instead he's our best on ball defender. You can thank Monty for that.

Packedge GV and Lopez and you are cooking. Tag either one of those guys up with Gordon and your cooking with gas. You go from netting a mid tier 1st rounder (with GV and Lopez) to netting an all star player.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

From the eye test, I would love to have Burke as the top pick. I haven't done the number crunching yet, but he seems to be the best pick long-term assuming Gordon will he here for awhile.

It's hard for me not to say Burke is carrying that team to wins when...he just carried that team to a win against a #1 seed.

I like to think he "willed" his team over Rock Chalk. Makes it sound legendary.

    Just say no to Carter-Williams.

He didn't even have the best game on his team. McGary put up 25/14 on 4 fewer shots than Burke, all against arguably the best defender in the country in Withey.

Yes, Burke hit the big shot. Does hitting the big shot mean you are carrying your team?

Look, I like Burke. I just hate the hyperbole that comes after this kind of game. Burke is a great player. But he had help from a poor KU performance down the stretch, and great teammates. I don't think this performance vaults him to the top of the board. That's all.
