Of course there's the other side of that coin. The longer we wait the closer he becomes to being a FA which also lower his value. I think most GM's are aware of EJ's potential when healthy. The question becomes do they think he can still healthy enough to justify the max deal and/or to give them the needed push.

He's not 100% and it's evident, but he's healthy enough to play. So I agree we don't need to rush trading him however moving him while he's healthy IMO gives us the most trade value. Another injury IMO kills any chance for us to get quality for him if we are going to be here long term.

I see it like this. He did his rehab program successfully. He has played since. Not his choice to sit b2b like we all know of course. After him having this off season to get in 100% nba mode as to say. His judgment day should come after next season or at half way point. Do u agree?

But look at the guys listed ahead and below him. Advanced stats are crazy.

And the PER stat doesn't even take into account defensive performance. Its similar to OPS in baseball which exclusively looks at offensive production. Looking at GV's win shares per 48 minutes shows he's in the bottom 5 of starting PGs in the league.

Back on topic....oladipo came up big and I think is the first prospect to show the clutchness in a late game situation. Smart,porter,bazz and Bennett all came up small in the big lights...mclemore is about to have his time in this 2h with kansas down 9 at the half

It had more to do with Gordon being a solid option and there not being anyone signifigantly amazing in this draft. Its not like we are talking about Gordon for a Wiggins caliber prospect.

That releford kid for Kansas has always played great defense. Comes up with big shots in big moments too. He's a senior and has been pretty consistent his whole college career. Wouldn't mind taking him in the 2nd round.1 heck of a defender. Also really like withey for a center prospect later in the draft.wonder where Hairston will go in this draft. He has def helped his stock with the acc tournament and this tournament so far.

I agree with this. He's been healthy enough to play since his rehab, though clearly not at 100% explosiveness or stamina. I'm willing to wait and see how he comes out of this offseason to make my verdict on his future viability as a Pelican.

To me the best part about the tournament is having most of all the top prospects available and on TV for everyone to see, I havent watched much Kansas this season so today is like my first real look at McClemore and he hasnt had a very good day thus far
