Ahh makes more sense. Not sure I want much of anyone on that UCLA offense other than Bazz.
    Wherehappens.

He played pg in HS and at UCLA Howland tried to make him a "point forward" which is another term for, " I have this amazing talent on my team and I don't know what to do with him, but I don't want to waste his talents on the bench."

He is a pg in the Shaun Livingston role, and far from crap. I think we are seeing just how underrated the PAC-12 is since the start of this tourney. So for him to be 2nd team so quickly is saying something about this talent.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

hedo turkoglu played point forward for the magic, doesn't make him a point guard.

Hedo was athletic as Anderson? Like I said, keep an eye out for him. He could rise up the ranks if he comes out. He is a good option for a contending team as you can bring him along and have a solid bench player or starter within 1 or 2 years. He is Jalen Rose without the shot, but with better rebounding skills.

Even if he does rise he isn't a PG.

Why were his numbers crap then?

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Kyle Anderson. He is a freshman pg for the UCLA Bruins, and he was second team PAC-12. He put up 9pts, 3asst., 8 reb, 1.8 stls, but 2.1 to's. Like I said, he is a pg, but in UCLA's system he was used as a swingman. He is 6'9 but quick. If he comes out, it would be worth keeping an eye on his landing spot.

They were crap? They look pretty solid to me.

I mean he was 2nd team all PAC-12 as a freshman putting up numbers across the board. Very Andre Kirilinko like in they he had nice numbers across the board, but none of those numbers were amazing. And for a 19 year old...he and Bazz were supposed to form the best backcourt in the NCAA when they came in together, I guess neither guy lived up to his expected billing.

But he can be used as a pg. He is no more a pg than Rivers.

Kyle Anderson is a point forward and he's slow. He cant guard the quicker dudes. Id be shocked if he came out this year because he probably wouldnt get picked in the first round. He's way way way too raw.

Crap for a point forward i'm saying. 3 Assist is very meh for a guy you're trying to convert to a point. He needs to stay in school another year and get scoring numbers up a lot. 15-10-5 assist and you've got my attention.

DeShaun Thomas looked good out there for Ohio St. Pelicans also need to look at Aaron Craft

  14. #1289
Pelicans need to concentrate on Victor Olidapo

Kyle's got potential, but he's got a ways to go. He'll never be a starting point anything for anyone in the NBA because he's not athletic enough. He's gonna have to get better in the paint. He'll wind up being a good guy to have on your team cause he's a tall guy who doesn't clumsily dribble the ball off his foot. His upside is that I'm not sure he's worked on putting on muscle; he looks soft. If he does that, who knows what his game will look like in a few years. IMO, he can play basketball so that's a starting point.

Man the more I watch oladipo the more impressed I become. Love his defense and energy man dam. I think with his shot being the only concern isn't really a bad thing cuz their shot they can work on and is one of the easiest things to fix as long as the hard work and potentials there. Which it is cause its not like his shooting is horrible or nothing but just would like it to be a lil better being a sg. His driving ability and taking it to the hoop makes up for it too.

That's not bad considering he wasn't the pg. Drew was the starting pg, and Adams came in second in assists. For comparison, GV records 9 assists a game, and Gordon is averaging 3 a game. Not bad.

So he had 2.4 turnovers a game but 9/8/1. For comparison Bazz had 1.5 turnovers 17/5 and was a black hole when he was passed the ball. I am not trying to knock Bazz as much as I am trying to point out how well rounded this kid is.

Should he fun to see what he does.

Oladipo would be awesome for this team but the question is where would he fit? At the three? The two? Should he backup Gordon or replace him? That's the questions Dell must answer after he drafts him though lol he's gonna be awesome with who ever gets him.

I'd still rather try and move the pick for a proven vet.

last time I checked Gordon can't even stay on the court for back to back games and hasn't gone through a healthy season in a while

Its been said a few times that Gordon wants to play in the back to back games but the medical team is still keeping him out to be overly-cautious.

Last time i checked the b2b were managements desicion not Gordon. Last time i checked this is a pretty weak draft and there are not really any cant miss prospects. You want to offload a burden (in your eyes) for another burden (we would almost surely take some salary back). Like Gordon or not he is one of the two potential allstars on this team. Oladipo may turn out to be a solid player, but he will not set the world on fire his first season. This basically ensures another tank. Idk what the obsession is with drafting at one of the two positions we are set at.

For people who have been watching Temple and Indiana, Has Oladipo been guarding Wyatt the entire game or what?
