For what it's worth, the wolves have played every game this season with at least 3 inactive players I believe. And about 50% of their games have been with 5 or more inactives.

Teams around the league are in serious tank mode. Think Love is done for season so TWolves will continue to suck.

    Re: Our Current Standing

Its really not worth tanking this year, its a very weak draft class so you just as well try to build your players and try to instill winning and closing out games in clutch situations.

This class doesn't have the star player like AD, but I think this class is deeper than last year class

It seems to have less bust potential than a couple drafts from previous years but also less boom.

I like 6. I think it's going to be a magic number for us. Hopefully we can stay there to end the season.

I do too. Oladipo or Burke please.
    Wherehappens.

  16. #341
I see us drafting somewhere in that 3-6 spot. Who knows, get a top 4 pick, move it a few spots down and come away with a vet and Burke.

  17. #342
4/2/012. 6th spot all by our lonesome.

We're about to start a 5 game road stretch, and two of those teams are Utah and the Lakers. With them both fighting for the 8th seed, I see us losing both. I could see us winning 2 of the remaining 8 games which would keep us in the 4-7 range. I'd be very happy with that.

    6th spot

hopefully we finish in the 5th or 6th spot and luck out in the lottery and get the 4th or 5th pick.

We can't luck out in the lottery and only move up one spot. If we're in the 5th spot, we can only pick 1, 2, 3, and 5.

oh well in that case im fine with 1, 2 or 3. If u have the 6th pick where can u move up to? 1, 2, 3, 4, 6th?

so if we finish with 6th place we have a
6.3% chance for the 1st pick
7.1% chance for the 2nd pick
    8.1% chance for the 3rd
    44% chance for 6th
    30% chance for 7th

If we finish in 5th place we have a
    8.8% chance for 1st pick
    9.7% chance for 2nd
    10.7% chance for 3rd
    26% chance for 5th
    36% chance for 6th

why if u finish in 5th u have a better chance of landing the 6th overall pick? is that a typo and the %'s should be changed for ur chance at the 5th and 6th picks?

Basically, we should be shooting for the fifth worst record (or better), so that we're guaranteed a top 6 pick, and subsequently a player from the first or second tier (McLemore, Noel, Smart, Porter, Shabazz, or Oladipo) in this years draft.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
