Watching Maryland, that guy Lin is terrible. He is a top 10 pick? God I hope we don't pick him.
Burke struggling and Robinson III lighting it up. What? Lol
Oh my god.... Burke came so close to having a sever concussion. Head narrowly missed hitting the floor. Whew. Probably some crazy whiplash now.
Does smart fall after his not so great game ??
It shouldn't. It's one game. If memory serves me right, Kevin Durant didn't get out of the 1st round either.
That said, this ain't a good draft class and anyone expecting Smart to light up the world and show he's the next Russell Westbrook was going to be disappointed regardless. He's a big PG who is good at using his body to get to where he needs to be.
Pretty unfortunate for Smart, one bad game at the wrong time. Although in fairness if his stock does drop he will go to a better team most likely so that's cool I guess. That Oregon Ducks team has been pretty hot recently, remember seeing Jarred Cunningham completely rule them out about 3 weeks ago, but now they are putting up some big numbers offensively. Just noticed, despite how bad he played he still grabbed 9 rbds which is pretty gnarly for a PG
When the lights are brightest and the pressure is on do you crap the bed or do you rise to the occasion?
Smart cramped the bed.
It's interesting how Kentucky will have more guys on their team drafted than any team in either the NCAA or NIT tourney, yet they were the first out.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
Bennet demanding the ball and a physical backdown to put it in! Nice.
Yeah, I am enjoying Bennets game. He plays big.
That was a bad play by him though.
this is terrible.....if a couple more highly rated guys have an off night, they might cancel the draft!
"we might make dollars, but we don't necessarily make sense"
"always be sincere....whether you mean it or not"
Actually Smart is the only one that I know of that crapped the bed. Everyone else has been able to contribute outside of their typical "games".
Looking forward to the games tomorrow. We will see a few kids make names for themselves and really move up the charts.
Ever since the BCS has come to power in football, I enjoy March Madness more than the CFB postseason.
welcome to the SE LA sports hell that was 2012... LSU losing to Alabama in the BCS Championship Game... Saints D implosion in last minute vs 49ers in playoffs... Hornets tank #1... LSU getting eliminated in baseball playoffs super regional at Alex Box by Stony Brook ()... bountygate sham/fiasco... Saints 0-4 start... LSU offense still as inept as ever even though Mett was supposed to make it better (please be the answer Cam Cameron)... Saints missing the playoffs... Falcons ending Brees' TD pass streak... LSU getting left out the Cotton Bowl and losing on a last second kick in the Chick-fil-A Bowl
about the only good thing that happened in SELA (major) sports this year was Hornets winning the NBA lottery and drafting AD23
"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin
I don't know who Harvard's starting Point Guard is, but the kid is 23 year old Tony Parker kinds of fast.
Can't believe Harvard is about to win
