"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Wow one of those Ball Don't Lie moments.
The answer is still "Meh." Extrapolate a circumstance you are only second handedly at best familiar with if you choose. I'm not worrying about that. Too much gets made of stuff like this as if our players are formative children and a bad influence can and will corrupt them.
Meh.
This isn't apples to apples. These guys play two different position and don't get equal time and oppurunities to score. This doesn't factor in contested shots or assisted baskets. And the numbers are still close (except for the hook numbers) I clearly said as good as or better.
That's true. I was trying to save you embarrassment. Carry on, I actually find it amusing.
I've got a question for everyone though. I've heard good and bad on Smart. Some saying he's legit and some saying not. What's the general consensus on him? Personally his measurables make he really like the prospect of him at the point.
I really wish I could believe in my own opinion so much that even after people prove me wrong time and time again I STILL believe in my opinion. I'll give da throne that.
You don't ever have to worry about saving me from anything. I'm an adult I've never been embarrassed to speak my opinions.
So you think being slightly ahead in a few categories means Davis is better on a partial year basis? Stats don't tell the whole story. They are a good reference point. However like I stated we can go through stat this year alone and guys who are scrubs could have higher %'s than stud players it happens. There are so many varibles not factored in to those numbers that they can't be all telling.
Dude...answer this for me. If Drummond is as good as you say he is, why no teams took a chance on him until pick 9? What did they not see in him that you do? Because if he is as talented as you say he is he would have been taken top 5. 8 professional scouts passed on him, for what reason? If the Hornets passed on Davis, do you think he would've lasted to the 9th pick? But Drummond is more talented you say?
2013-1014 is the season the Pelicans fanbase grows!!!!
At this point it just seems like you'd rather keep making asinine statements like Drummond has guard skills, a jumper, and a hook shot (which he clearly does not have any of those three), rather than admitting how wrong you have been in the past. That's ok though, I went through a time where I had trouble admitting I was wrong as well, maybe one day you'll move past that. And the "stats" say Greivis is a below average PG, and we've talked about that to length on this board, not sure where you have been.
I'm over it as well.
I've done alot of stupid things drunk. But I have never ever been so drunk that I would ever say Drummond is better than Davis.
And you ignore the fact that stats aren't the end all be all. If I told you Kobe had a deadly jumper after his first year when he was air balling shots or that KG had an unstoppable game when he struggled his rookie year people would point to stats. It's not stats it skillsets that usually provails. Drummond skillset is there the stats will likely follow.
There's no changing any pro Davis people's minds here and I'm sold on Drummond we can all agree to disagree. I'm sure this debate will spark up often as both players careers progress.
