noel - 18 - about to turn 19 in april
mclemore - 21 - holy cow he is older than oladipo
burke - 20 - wont turn 21 until november
Bennett - 20 - just turned 20, 4 days ago
I guess i'm the only one not interested in Mclemore. The guy is a slightly taller Kemba Walker with more off the court issues. We need a nucleus-type of guy with high character. Smart is the guy, imo.
Is that supposed to be a joke? Slightly taller? Mclemore is almost 6'5". Kemba is a generous 6'1". And I know nothing of his off the field stuff. Please elaborate.
off the top of my head: Kicked out of Oak Hill Acadamy> Academically ineligible freshman season> Arrested for alcohol posession (could've happened to any of us)> arrested for not showing up at court for alcohol arrest (doesn't happen to normal people).
I have noticed a lot of young players are born in march.

R.I.P. to HunnyB/FlyGirl
^ Thinking these 'character concerns' are similar to Randy Moss's?
Granted these are just highlight videos, but Noel, Bennett, Oladipo, McLemore, and Smart are the ones that looked like they would fit in the NBA very well. And of those, McLemore and Noel look the best.
Shaq had post moves, and Howard isn't that scary in the post, but even he has post moves. Drummond has absolutely no post moves whatsoever. And as for his "decent" jumper, he has only made 1 jumper outside the lane this year. You are just being ridiculous. I can appreciate controversial views, but you take it to another level. Anyone who shoots 36% from the FT line can't be taken seriously as a "shooter."
For people saying oladipo doesnt have the lateral quickness or explosion of Dwade... watch the highlight video HunnyB posted up. Dude is a natural slasher with great body strength quickness and explosion, his jumpshot can still improve, he's only 20, younger than mclemore. he just moved up my big board.

Just stop trolling. There is nothing "decent" about Drummonds jumper. He's only shooting 22% this year on shots that aren't dunks or layups. He has no offensive game outside of using his athleticism around the rim.
And Dwight Howard shoots between 43-46% inside the paint but outside of the restricted area on his career, Drummond is at just 27%. Anthony Davis is at 45% for comparisons sake.

The only things Davis does better than Drummond are the mid-range jump shots and the FT shooting. Drummond is as good or better at ever other aspect of basketball.
Sure Drummond post skills are extremely basic, however it's there. He has the quick spin, post hook, and can beat guys off the dribble. This is a young man that should be in college right now. His lateral quickness is the best I've ever seen for any player 6'10 or above. Much like we've seen with Howard being an athletic 5 is often all you need as they develop more skills. Both Drummond and Howard had ball skills with great lateral quickness even if they didn't have post skills. Davis has neither
Only had to read one sentence before I came up on the first thing you were wrong in.
Anthony Davis shoots 71% at the rim, Drummond shoots 67% at the rim.
Anthony Davis converts on 91% of his dunks, Drummond converts on 90% of his dunks.
Anthony Davis converts 52% of his layups, Drummond converts 49% of his layups.
Anthony Davis has gotten his shot blocked every 17 attempts, Andre Drummond gets his shot blocked every 15 attempts.
Anthony Davis converts a and one on 6% of his shots, Andre Drummond converts a and one on 3% of his shots.
Do I have to keep going? Keep in mind that Drummond has 50lbs on Davis as well.
And last but not least, since you mentioned how Drummond has a hook. Anthony Davis shoots 55% on his hook shots, Drummond shots 11% (yes 11%). That's some hook shot he has there...
