On top of that, he has absolutely no offensive skill set other than a a put-back dunk. Did he even take a shot outside the lane this year? Never mind his abysmal FT shooting at 36%. Guy looks like Aminu out there, but he is bigger and stronger. They are both freak athletes, but neither will ever have anything offensively, and neither have any resemblance of a basketball I.Q. If you watched Drummond this year, he looked totally lost, just like he did in college. Drummond's ceiling is Camby, IMO. Certainly worth a top pick, but he'll never be in Davis' league. Just doesn't have the skill set, brain, instincts, or killer instinct. He is the big kid who doesn't want to hurt anyone smaller than him.

Yeah, basically what I was trying to say lol it sucks though because if he did have those intangibles he could be the next Shaq or Robinson type of player.

He could still be a very good player in his own right. Elite rebounder, rim protector, runs the floor for a big, good with putbacks. There are skills there, but none to make him a dominant player like DaThrone is trying to make him out to be. Nobody will ever worry about Drummond offensively.

Drummond has more offensive potential than Davis. His guard like ball skills alone make him more dangerous.

just because ur quick doesnt make u good offensively, and i disagree that drummond has better dribbiling skills than davis, and even if he does drummond's FT is enough to say he will not be as good as davis offensively

not even close in the post, davis blows him away, dathrone thinks he is better on O because he can dribble, but hey drummond shoots a nice 35% from the FT line so that helps too.

Both are poor post up players right now, and neither do it very much. Drummond makes just 16.7% of his shots out of the post, Davis just 24.1%.

I'm sorry but i dont remember Drummond being that great of a ball handler? I've never heard guard skills and Drummond in the same sentence, am i just dreaming this up?

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Same here, but I would swap Porter and Smart. Probably not a popular decision, but I still can't buy into the Smart hype.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

I believe he did. The better question might be how many has he MADE outside of the lane this year?

Drummond can dribble, and he can certainly dunk. He has good hands for stealing the ball. I don't know that his 'guard skills' are any better than Davis' though who was actually a guard in the not so distant past.

I think with Drummond its important to note that he's a baby. He should be a freshman in college right now. You'd have to be blind to not see the potential in Drummond. Same with MKG in my opinion.

Davis however is in another stratosphere.

Yes, he definitely has potential. I wouldn't have minded him here, just not over Davis.

A guy who can't make a jumper and has no shot whatsoever.doesn't even currently posess a post up game.vs a guy who has a silky smooth jumper with above avg handles for a big man and also leads all rookies in double doubles. But he still has more offensive potential?? Please I'd like to hear this insane explanation u have.

Ok after watching this highlight could Bennett play SF? I used to say no but now idk... Watch him steal the ball then cross this guy up and drive to the rim for the thundaaaaa

Not defensively but man I'd love to put Bennett with Davis.

Would love to have a fellow canadian like Bennett or Olynyk on this team (maybe Wiggans next year lol) but Marcus Smart is a perfect fit for this team. If not Smart i would take a serious look at Noel than Porter. If neither checks out i would trade back and select Burke.

By the way what happened to Michael Carter Williams?

Ps played basketball in canada, have seen and even played against some of these guys (kevin Pangos pickering team destroyed my prep team when he was a freshman in highschool).
Know what i know... Stay away from Kobongo this year. Never was a fan of his. Pangos and Cory Joseph were always superior prospects to Kobongo). Kelly Olynyk is a beast, has played for team canada since he was 17. Was always considered a SF and now he is C. Super super skilled, one of the most skilled players i have ever seen up close. A do it all player. Imo he is a pf at the next level. I have personally seen Olynyk make 2 other canadians Tristan Thomspon and Andrew nicholson look like trash 4 or 5 years ago. Tristan Thompson went on to be the #4 pick in the nba draft and Nicholson became a first rounder last year.
