I know people are irritated, but get real.

I'm sitting here watching KD put the Thunder on his back and he's killing the Mavs... meanwhile our "best" player only takes 6 shots the whole game and failed twice at giving his team the lead.

At least 10 games have been lost due to horrible coaching . At least 10. I would say its probably closer to 20 than 10
Dell Demps PLEASE get us some scorers!

The way I see it is Monty is a brilliant tank orchestrator who's gets the team in position to win every game but masterminds a single devastating play that insure a loss... Beautiful imo

That is not the case I never seen a player dominant the ball so much, GV and Gordon are not a good match.

A lot of these close losses end up with me just shaking my head at our execution. Like a damn junior varsity high school team trying to run a play in practice.

How many years from now will we be talking about tanking? Is this what fans in Charlotte and Toronto have been saying for the last 10 years? There had better be some major changes in coaching and personnel this offseason or that 12K season ticket base might be 6K if they are lucky. For me there is little to no entertainment value with this team, just frustration and a lot of wasted time and money for many people, myself included.

So the team turns the ball over 18 times...

The point guard shoots 10 for 25...

We screwed up at least 3 fast breaks...

We got outshot from the free throw line 27-16...

    But its Monty's fault.

    We're not good folks!

Lmao perfectly put sensai. We had two pretty bizarre fouls as well somewhat towards the end. I dont think the team is just sucking to suck i think Monty is putting them in the worst position to win at the end of games by purposely drawing retarded plays. Yall also whine about EJ now but i see him and AD easily being our best players next year.

I coach AAU, and even I can draw up defenses to stop some of the elementary plays Monty draws up at the end of games.

I just hate the neglect in offensive development. We allegedly model our team after the spurs, but we are 1/20 the team the spurs are offensively. They have ball movement, players moving off the ball, and creative plays. We have one guy dominate the ball till late in clock with no off ball movement and a vanilla playbook. Does Monty think CP is still running the show

Great post, I was thinking the same thing earlier tonight. I think it is comical at this point the people on here that continue to support or think Monty is a great coach or he is somehow going to wake up one day and figure out how to draw a play up on offense. His defensive coaching is supposed to be his strong point yet we are near the bottom of the league in almost all categories.

Some of you or acting like this loss knocked us out of the playoffs, the only thing I care about this season is seeing AD get more minutes and see improvement in his game which he is doing. No one will fill bad about this loss during lottery night

I'm still trying to figure out why Davis was on the bench instead of in the game to compete for a crucial rebound at the end?

    I'm sensing this thing....a word...first letter...perpendicular shape....hmmmmmm...

If monty is purposefully putting young, inexperienced players in the worst position to win while we are supposedly focusing on player development he should be fired on the spot. Tanking IN GAME as in throwing plays to lose is not what is going on, these guys are professionals and success for them is defined by winning and by doing stuff like that they are not only hurting their development but their ability to make money and be successful as a professional basketball player/coach. Monty's overall win% as a coach must be horrible, you don't think teams take that into account when hiring? I'm not saying we aren't tanking but people need to stop attributing mistakes to tanking and start looking at them for what they are, mistakes
    never assume

Point Guard dictates everything. We need an athlete at the 1. Everyone has to close in on the drive because GV can't keep a vegetable in front of him

  22. #272
It sucks that the rest of our games are pretty much home games though. Id rather suck at an arena not our own.

You got to stop killing yourself wondering why Monty makes the decisions his does. Davis is an amazing talent, is he underweight, of course but when it comes to crunch time you put your best players on the court, not Monty he puts the boy on the bench because he is rookie? There is no logic to any reasoning he spits out of his mouth to not play Davis when we need talent on the floor.

Our team has very little talent overall, that's why we lose.
