Oh well dont i feel retarded, anyway i projeted us finishing 3rd worst, and with the wizards going 5-5 after their last 10 and us not having jsmith, rivers and ryno being sick i think thats where we land, wouldnt be surprised at all if we finish 3rd worst and land the 2nd overall pick, i still feel luck is on our side!!! Gosh I would have a hard time picking between Smart and porter but i would have to go smart.

We play the wizards tomorrow!!! Lol...could be a serious tank game for us to move us on up or down in the standings lol

Lol thats like a double win for us, if we lose not only do we drop lower in the rankings but it moves the wizards up, oh and whats that? No Rivers, Gordon, Smith or Ryno tomorrow? The tank is officially back on...

watch us win by like 20 lol

Idk about that man it'd be tough for sure but I've watched smart all season. I am not sold on him just yet. His 3pt % is horrible and he just jacks them up 1 after another. Plays excellent defense tho. I def think he will be good and I'll be happy with him but I think we have to go sf if we can get Shabazz or porter!!! We just have to. Lord I hope I am right about this. I think we can get a decent pg in fa to pair with rivers. The more I watch porter the more I'm sold on him. He is justa solid ball player all around. His length at the 3 would be amazing to pair with Davis at the 4. I'm drooling at that prospect.

In absolutely no way do I want us to draft Noel tho!!! I've seen a few ppl suggest that n I'm honestly not worried about that cause I'm about 100% sure they wouldn't draft him already having Davis. If u are going to go big man cause porter, shabazz and smart are gone then u most def go with the 7 Ftr Len. I'm all for going with Burke honestly if those 3 are gone. I'm on the fence with the smart/Burke debate. I'm actually leaning Burke as of now. I don't care where they have him ranked in mock drafts. Burke is the truth.

Well I agree about our biggest need being SF but about Smart he might be shooting a low 3pter but he takes a lot of shots because his team isnt any good but his shooting mechanics are perfect, his jumper is beautiful, i think his percentage would go up if he had compitent people around him to spac the floor for him, porter only shot 22% from as a freshmen for example and smart has a much more sound jumper, but i dont see smart being the pick if we keep rivers and gordon, not enough minutes for them all, but i could see us taking smart and trading gordon for a good SF and Center or a really good center and signing a good small forward in FA and maybe lucking out next year and landing the 2 best prospects in wiggins and parker who will both be incredible SF's. I cannot wait til the draft and free agency, its gonna be awesome and a lot will happen!

Have you watch Len play this year, the only reason he is rated high is because he is 7ft, dude has done nothing all year.

Disagree, he has decent numbers for having such absolute terrible guard play, if he was on michigan's team with burke he would have a much better season , he will be pretty good i think, wouldnt take him in the top 6 but i would take him at 10 for sure.

We don't play the Wizards until Friday. Anderson will likely be better by then...

Wizards is a winnable game if Anderson gets well by then. My top 3 wants as a player for the pelicans are smart, Otto, and bazz in no particular order. Feel those three have high ceilings and fit the teams needs, while also being considered top of their classes.

This is just such a hard draft to gauge. Are there any real superstars here? Or just a bunch of David Wests and Joe Johnsons?

I just hope we can grab a viable starting SF assuming we keep Gordon.

I think we have a viable starting SF... Aminu has come on and found his niche on this team. I think the bigger question is if Davis will ever play the 5. Then we'd have more firepower offensively at the 4 w/ Ryno.

Now if we can find another SF to counter Aminu like a Budinger, that would be the perfect compliment. I think Aminu's D, athleticism, and rebounding are just too good just to let walk with no CLEAR upgrade in Free Agency. He's still only what? 22?

You're inviting something you don't want here. You clamor for reasons for our best players to miss games, then you turn around and something happens that spills into the next season too.

Let this thing go and let the season play its course, man.

The top seven or eight players in the draft range from future allstars to solid players. I don't think there are any franchise changing players but being in the top five might mean we get a choice of a possible future all star. While Davis is growing, its essential to get talent around him that will grow with him and complement him. There are definitely players in this draft that will do that. I really feel that in two years we will make a jump and it will be exciting.

Even if there are David West's and Joe Johnsons in this draft, they are way better than a bunch of Adam Morrisons and Wesley Johnsons. Combined a B rated Allstar wtih Anthony Davis (franchise changing player) will equal playoffs.

i think we are doing a really good job of our OKC model rebuild i mean think about it a lot of ppl here complain there are no franchise players but we got our KD last year in davis and if i recall OKC picked westbrook with the fifth or sixth pick, that can be our porter\smart\mclemore\burke. OKC had terrible players during those early years but they found a few servicable guys in the rubble to compliment their talent which i think dell will continue to do even into next season. I just pray the talent levels play out the same

Would be really great if we tanked our next game! Bring on the tank!

I think once Porter has his tournament, he'll go #3. Mclemore/Noel/Porter/Smart/Bazz
    Wherehappens.

I agree completely. If we are to get Porter, we're going to need a Top 3 pick in all likelihood.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

I could see Oladipo going ahead of Shabazz.

Got a feeling we end up with the 3rd overall pick, dont ask why, so no matter what we will land 1 out of mclemore, smart, bazz, porter. im good with that.
